Elgin Park — Attraction in Uxbridge

Elgin Park is gorgeous! Uxbridge is gorgeous! But, the Uxbridge Fair was disappointing this year (2022)! Paid $20.00 and was finished the entire fair in less than one hour! Very few vendors, rides were all crammed together like sardines! The bandshell/stage needed to be closer to the rest of the fair. The produce awards tent and the craft awards building were a nice addition, but needed a lot more entries. The farm machinery display was a nice contribution. The parking was TERRIBLE!!! You could only go one way in and not be able to get out! Better planning needs to be exercised, especially, for emergency procedures. It was very dangerous trying to leave early, approximately 6:00 p.m. The Uxbridge Fair is necessary and we all look forward to going to it every year, but it needs...

We went there for fall colors. The park is near to Toronto at less than an hour. The park is perfect if you are with young toddlers and children. The drive is near and the park is filled with lots of trees, benches, two separate playgrounds, lots of artistic installations. The rest rooms were also the cleanest I have seen in recent times. The parking lot is large and completely free. This is the perfect destination to view the fall colors for family and seniors. The pathways are well laid and it’s not too difficult to cover the entire park. There was also a trail around the pond but the park itself was so entertaining that we spent all the time there. It’s also dog friendly so don’t hesitate on bringing your dogs....

Beautiful, expansive, and impeccably maintained, Eglin Park in Uxbridge is a true gem. We visited during Ribfest, and it was the perfect setting for such an event. The park’s paths are well-paved and ideal for a leisurely stroll, with massive, gorgeous trees providing shade and a sense of tranquility. The playgrounds are fantastic, offering a variety of activities that kept our kids entertained for hours, and the clean bathrooms were a pleasant surprise. The entire park is incredibly child-friendly, with safe, open spaces that make it easy to relax while the little ones explore.
