Huge park with three football field worth of shareable space. Lots of parking available, public washroom, brand new dual water fountain, andd the playground has finally finished as of late 2021 so that is exciting.
I would like to add it would be a five star if there were more benches and trash cans for such a huge park. There is only two currently, and a lot of people litter as it is so far to get from 1 to the other. Often times in the Spring/Summer they are overflowing. Also, a brand new water fountain as the current one doesn't always work or it is really gross.
Please take your trash with you if you can't walk there and clean up after pets...

The fields are used daily throughout the spring, summer, and early fall for various...

It's a 3 tiered park so there is much space for people to do different activities at the same time like playing frisbee or soccer, having a picnic, dog-walking, without feeling crowded. Each tier is lined with trees and there are benches by the shady areas for those who want to just sit and relax. There's nothing grand about Winona Park but I consider this as one of my "happy places" because I enjoy the peace and fresh air I don't get from the most popular and...
