Lackluster experience, was quite disappointed. The only good thing was friendly staff, and dine in is open. If you see the 5 star reviews, it's mostly given by people who have only 1 review (which is for this restaurant). Hmm. The fried chicken was dry, not juicy. Soft, not at all crispy and was lukewarm. Asked for spicy, and it was completely bland. Two customers after me had the exact same experience, and probably the dozen or so delivery orders that happened when I was there. I was there for more than 30 mins and I didn't see or hear the sound of anything being fried, which was strange. It seems they batch cook a big bunch and then just keep it heated. Unlike Church's or KFC where the frying is on continuously. The quantity is also quite low for the poppers and other dishes, considering the price. With a strong competitor like Win Win literally right across the street, this chain needs to get their act together. The food cost $20 which is quite on the pricey side. House hot sauce was good but the honey mustard was too sweet. Washroom available but tables were not cleaned. Bill not given unless asked for. This place really makes me reconsider my decision to support a local Vancouver chain. All said and done, American franchises are the best when it comes to fried chicken - speed, quality, and quantity.

its alright, i guess, i ordered the korean sandwich and its not what it looks like on the menu. it looks like a regular chicken sandwich with a little sauce on top. my son ordered the classic chicken sandwich and they literally look and taste the same, except for the sauce part. bun was cold out and the chicken was dry. not juicy at all. we also ordered the 3 piece and the chicken for my taste buds seems bland. missing some umami flavour and also lacks saltyness. the gravy was too runny and seems like it was a watered down version of the costco gravy. which leaves me to the fries, the fries is actually good and crunchy, then it hit us up, the fries looks like from costco. over all, the food is still ok, it wasnt what we expected it to be. service is actuslly good, the crew was friendly and even took time to bring our food to our table. its good for immidiate fried chicken cravings if you're around the area.

$9 for two 3 ounce pieces of dry but crust below 7/11 quality chicken barely a snack and $5 for a 2 liter of pop. Absolutely nothing like the north Burnaby branch which actually serves decent chicken. Right pic is the $15 meal complete with 2 tiny chicken and a large pop to go. Could have got 2 medium. pizzas and a Pop at Little Caesars for the same price. The other outlets serve 2 large bone in chicken breasts that are actually worth $4 a piece because they are very large. Regardless the 7/11 at 41st will give you 8 pieces for $15 including 4 large thighs or breasts and it is very good chicken when fresh. I doubt these chicken only stores will survive the competition over time and it shows already. They charge double for comparable chicken elsewhere. Usually fresh just before lunchtime.

These guys are great! I'd placed an order through DoorDash several weeks ago, and was rushing to place the order at the time. Then after submitting the order I'd realized I'd made a mistake, so called them up to see if they could help sort out my error.

They took care of my request no problem... and with a great attitude & courteous demeanour to boot! (which seems so hard to come by these days when trying to get good customer service often feels like pulling teeth... or worse!!)

Not only that, but it also seems like most of the orders I place through 3rd party sites like Doordash or SkipTheDishes usually often have something (or MANY things) wrong with the orders...

(I get that restaurants can get really overwhelmed & swamped these days... especially during these challenging times! ...and more than anything I'm just really grateful that all these hard-working employees & delivery people are still out there working hard & making it possible to continue being fed!)

But that said, it DOES tend to get tiring when so many orders seem to be constantly wrongly fulfilled... or always seeming to have some sort of issue needing to be sorted out!

Well, my point is: NOT these guys! ...(not so far anyways!)... because not only did they get EVERYTHING correct with my order, with not a single mistake at all... but every last detail of my order or any special requests I'd made was fulfilled to meet OR EXCEED my expectations!! What a pleasant surprise that was! Phew!!! :)

As for the food, everything was well prepared, tasty, & fresh! Though, personally, I have to admit that I like my chicken slightly more seasoned & salty,...but that's just me, as I'm a total salt fiend!!! And I understand & recognize that not everyone is as big on salt... (plus some people need to watch their sodium levels for health reasons)... so really, it's no big deal as I can easily add more salt to my liking... whereas if the chicken were more salty, then I suppose perhaps for others it'd be an issue, since you can't exactly (or easily) amend over-salted food!! So, on that front, they also get 5 stars for food as far as I'm concerned!

All in all I'm VERY satisfied as it was my first time ordering from them (thought I'd been to their location in-person once, several years ago)... and it definitely won't be the last time!! (In fact, I'm just trying to catch up now on leaving this feedback that's overdue, and then about to order from them again! Can't wait... yum yum!!! hehe :P )

...so, needless to say, I would NOT hesitate to recommend them to others... and will expect to be doing repeat business with them on a regular basis, since (so far) I'm a very satisfied --scratch that-- I'm a very THRILLED customer so far! And I can't imagine that would change any time soon, since their attitude was so excellent when dealing with them last that even if they had made a mistake, I have full confidence that they would've totally handled the situation perfectly well and would''ve taken care of anything wrong without any further issues at all!

Summary: 5 STARS, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR SURE!!! Don't delay! Order from these guys...

Today on July 5th 2019 at 3:30p.m I chose to purchase food at Hi Five in the Marine and Main location. I ordered a 4 piece chicken meal and was told that a new batch of regular chicken would be done in a few minutes. I told the employee that I was hungry and that I have not had fool all day so I hoped that it would be quick. Usually when the employee knows that I will be waiting for over 20 minutes they would offer me fries. This time they did absolutely nothing. They told me a few minutes which ended up being over 25 minutes. I am so upset at the new employees, I think the hiring standards are lower and maybe not enough training has been given for customer service. I waited over 20 minutes to get 4 pieces of chicken and once the chicken was finished, they took another 5 minutes to make wedges. It does not make any sense that I had to go through this with an empty stomach. In the old days with the old employees they would've told me it would take 20 minutes and offered me some food, while I was waiting. Now the service is poor, and I even saw the employee(east indian male) cooking the chicken drop a piece of chicken on the floor and laugh about it. I told employees that were working about how unprofessional they were: two young east Indian ladies and one elderly east Indian lady. The employee did absolutely nothing for customer satisfaction and just said sorry and tried to brush the situation away. I am taking my time to write this because I don't want this to happen to another person. Please look into this so it doesn't happen...
