The park is a community place where children explore their lifelong outdoor-play memories. Parents, get off your phones/social media (cyberworld) and engage in your child's-play!!! The park itself is a nice setting. But parents/caregivers should pay attention to their children by play WITH them and engaging WITH them, as they show their tricks or YOU BE their motivation. It is so sad, when a child turns to me and says look what i can do...you have just missed a lifelong memory of your child feeling accomplished.also, it promotes sharing, mindfulness and less confrontation/awkwardness, when children are at play.
Think about it...you leave your child at school or child care, and the supervisors or teachers are on their phones: Safety and Security....
