Joyous Planet is perfect for rainy days with a pre/early walker. The floors are padded so it's great for little ones. We always go when it first opens on weekends and doesn't get busy until a little later so it's great that it's not super crowded. They have a fun bubble machine that my little one loves. This place needs some TLC. Two of the three times I've visited, we have found loose screws on the floor. Once from the mini trampoline and once from the area near the play kitchens. The place needs a good dusting/cleaning as I find many of the surface areas/some toys dusty. Play kitchen have some broken pieces with screws sticking out that's covered with tape but my little one (under 18mo) was picking at the tape and would have been able to expose the screw if I didn't stop him. See pictures attached There's large foam building blocks which I see parents having more fun with than the kids, which is great, but the staff does not take them apart at the end of the night so the next morning, it's all stacked up and if I'm by myself, I cannot take apart the pieces and watch my child at the same time. Sometimes the structures get quite large which only means we cannot play with them. The picture i took was upon open so you can see how all of the foam blocks are all used up. This was one of many visits that was like this I purchased a pass so we will come back and the area again is great for early walkers but not sure I'll come back after my pass is done, unless some cleaning is done, the broken items are fixed and screws for things are tightened.

I never leave reviews, but had to post feedback on our wonderful private birthday party at Joyous Planet. We researched quite a few indoor playgrounds for our daughter’s 3rd birthday but most seemed very transactional ( ie strict rules regarding play times, extra hourly charges to set-up decor, limited food options, etc). Joyous Planet was so flexible with accommodating to our party needs, allowing us to set-up the day before and hours before the event as the party room was not in use ( no extra fee!). We were able to bring in our own food and they gave the kids a bit of extra play time as we were cleaning up ( we were the last party of the day) Their staff is truly top notch and would regularly check up on us to see if we needed any help. Like many reviewers have mentioned, their play area is geared towards younger toddlers, which was ideal as our daughter often finds other traditional indoor playgrounds too overwhelming. There is plenty of space and toys for kids to roam around and explore. The open layout also makes it a lot easier for parents to keep an eye on their kids without having to follow them around. The children had such a wonderful time and were begging not to leave! Thank you again, Joyous Planet! I highly recommend their space and will definitely come back!!

Great indoor park for little ones. Under 1 year old, the pricing is great. It’s a great place to play with different toys, meet other kids, and run around. Over 1, the price jump is a bit steep. It’ll still be a good time (even more appropriate), but the price is a bit harder to justify. It feels like you’re in a giant toys r us trying out all the toys, with padded floors. There are ride-on toys(cars, boat, tractor, snail), a walker, bouncing toys (rabbit, cow, ball, horse), a trampoline, multiple slides, a baby swing, some play houses, play kitchens, mega blocks, cars, giant foam lego-type pieces, climbing triangle, climbing dome, activity cubes, rocking horses, a tent, and plenty of other smaller toys. They do birthday parties but the cost is steep. Socks are required and everything is padded, but I wish it were a bit cleaner.

I have had two parties here for my children and although I have no complaints about the play area or party experience I am unhappy with the way I was treated as a customer during my most recent private party. My first experience at Joyous planet was in October 2021 everything was fine but my most recent party experience in January of 2023 was a nightmare towards the end of my party when I realized that someone had stolen my shoes. The staff seemed to just laugh it off as if it was no big deal even though it was -8 degrees that night and snowing and my shoes were gone under their watch. The next day noone followed up with me I had to call to reach the manager and he said "oh yeah they told me" again acting like it was not a big deal when a customer just lost a $200 pair of shoes at their establishment on a cold winter night. I asked him to review the cameras and after about an hour recieved a message that the shoe area was to crowded and its to much footage to go through. I later called to speak to the supervisor after a few days of no apology or resolution, who basically told me the shoes were my responsibility even though they are the ones who require you to remove your shoes to keep their facility clean so really it is their responsibility not the customers and she also told me that I was wrong for wearing expensive shoes to their facility. I am still waiting after almost 2 weeks for a follow up call on some sort of resolution or assistance from them at this point I have to wonder if the staff stole my shoes and they are covering for them I have no idea. I am highly disappointed that my issue was not taken seriously especially as a repeat customer to the facility. I will not return here and urge others not to leave their personal belongings as there is a risk it might be stolen and you will recieve no compensation let alone an apology from anyone...

We had our son’s first birthday at Joyous Planet and it was a total hit! Not only did he have a great time, our guests and their kids (15 kids between 8mo-9yo) mentioned to us over and over how much they enjoyed the facility.

Playground best for infant and toddlers but like I mentioned, the 6-9yo guests still had a fun time constructing forts with the life sized legos lots of different areas and activities for the children more “interactive” toys rather than a large play structure with a slide like other indoor play gyms

Party room (Curious island) extremely spacious and clean lots of seating and tables for guests and food tvs available but unfortunately speakers didn’t work - not a huge deal, we brought a portable coffee/tea/water provided by facility

Staff front desk associate (sorry I forgot to ask for name!) was extremely accommodating and helpful manager had kindly offered to let us use a beautiful balloon arch that was left from the night before had to upgrade our room size due to more guests and process was easy and the front desk also called to confirm

If the above wasn’t enough to convince you to give this playground a shot, our experience was made even more positive by the honest staff who found and returned a cash gifts we dropped.

Our group...
