Holy Chuck — Restaurant in Vaughan

Never have I ever been so dissapointed in my life. My friends and I drove all the way from Brampton to holy chucks after winning a basketball championship. As soon as we went inside the store (7:45pm) the lady told us that they're closing in 15 minutes so we can only order burgers and no dine in. On google is says the store closes at 10pm meanwhile she's telling us it closes at 8pm. So first of all change the timing on google to 8pm (which i see you guys finally did) rather then letting ppl come in and telling them last minute.

On top of all that, she said she isn't making any milkshakes or funnel cakes because "they are closing soon" which makes 0 sense because u have to serve customers until you close no matter how much they order. But since she didn't want to clean everything so late she decided to not even bother making it.

After all my friends ordered and waited for the burgers, the cashier decided to help out the small family behind us and make 3 milkshakes for them, when she told us she isn't making any at all because they close in 15 minutes. This triggered me into not even buying anything and leaving the store.

Now on top of all this, the owner really needs to teach the cashier lady some manners, rolling her eyes when she sees customers walk in with 15 minutes left till closing, kissing her teeth when I asked her for a cup of water. Then being rude and telling me to wait till she's done taking orders for the water. If you don't like working near closing then working fast food isn't a job for you, Cause until 8pm u have to serve each and every customer that comes...

I’m a regular customer since 2013, during these 9 years they served us well, but last night we were there with group of 9 people, we got there @ 9:06 PM, ( the store closing hour is 10), the cashier told us since they’re busy the food may get ready in 20 minutes so we have to do take out because we have no time to eat there, I mentioned we have enough time to dine in and asked her if it’s possible to have our food there and she said no the take out is the only option, so we decided to leave, after few seconds shift manager came out and said we can get back back and order for dine in, and we accepted ,at the moment we got back to the restaurant the cashier started shouting at her manager that she has no time to clean up after us, anyway we ordered our food and got it in 10 minutes and ate it in 15 minutes and we left the restaurant @9:42 ( which was 18 minutes prior closing time) , don’t get me wrong,the food was great like always, but the employee ruined our night and during our time there she kept showing attitude!!!! So , I believe the business owner should’ve thought the employees particularly the cashiers how to treat customers and be welcoming, not forcing people to leave because the want to finish sooner!!! These kind of employees are a big threat for the business, we love the food but we may not go there anymore just because of attitude of the cashier!!!!!!!

Update: I got there two weeks later, staff are changed and the vibe was much better than our last visit, thanks...

I got a oil soaked undercooked tiny burger terribly from a Philippino guy that looks obviously lost and clueless in preparing/cooking meat or even fries, the fries were tiny no flavor full of salt I had horrible time I couldn't finish the meal not because it ended being $24 + with what seems to be a kids lemonade bottle that I chose unbeknownst to me that there was a soda machine hidden from my view on the right hand corner but it was an honest mistake i could have asked if there was a drink machine instead of a little drink for $2.29. I felt that the meat was undercooked, I even told them well done when I was asked how I wanted it, thank GOD I didn't say rare or something like it. To be completely honest, I had a reaction with chest pains and stomach aches (I don't suffer from any illnesses) to the burger for being too greasy badly salty and the fries were the worst because all I tasted was salt and not potatoes, for $24 I forced myself to eat the burger, it had potential but it was overpowered by the salt in all the meal. I regret eating there and not Harvey's cheaper friendly hearty meal. Never will I eat there even though the menu seems highly niche and very expensive but is not worth half the $ my health was affected so that I asked for water and kept drinking water alot to rid the taste of salt and I couldn't wait until I got home because of my discomfort chest, stomach pains and sweating alot maybe my body defences was detoxifying all that...
