A hidden gem! This place is a good spot to watch the city from a high place. It offer a beautiful view during all 4 seasons of the year. I used to come here by car and spend hours in the summer. There is way to walk down to a park in middle of mountain. You could also walk up to top of the hill to get even better view. Houses around this place are also beautifully designed. That was a bonus for your sign seeing.

Very interesting place to see a good different view of the city, I had no idea it was there, after visiting the St Joseph Oratoire, before going all the way down to cross Westmount and see all the beautiful houses, cars, definitely, it is a hidden and a recommended spot. Do not forget to visit it to take good pictures from that angle of the city.

Westmont Lookout is the optimum place to view downtown Montreal and surrounding area. Everything up. There is no parking up there, but you might squeeze in a quick jump out and take pictures.

Summit Circle Look out is super underrated and nice to look at.

Here is my review…

Pros: A) Nice Viewpoints with less skyscrapers. B) They have signs pointing you to what you are looking at. C) Near Summit woods. D) Pretty cleaned and maintained somewhat

Cons: A) No Washrooms. B) No benches for people to sit. C) They should add trees and shade and more plants near by. D) Parking is on the street but they should bring back Parking facing the viewpoint.

Conclusion: I hope they maintain it and make it better for visitors and residents.

God Bless the Summit Lookout and God Bless the people that maintain and improve on it.

God Bless the city of Westmount.

Repent and believe. Jesus...

Spectacular view from west of downtown when it was opened. Unfortunately the viewing area has been fenced off due to ground instability and requires reconstruction and reinforcement. The sign on the fence says the area is closed "indefinitely." I cross the street from the viewing area to ascend the mountain on a trail through woods and after a few meters/yards uphill can see somewhat of a view of the city down below overlooking the viewing area. That's the best one can see for now at this site. The 5-star rating is for when the viewing...

All right it's a beautiful point to look at west Montreal the only issue is there was construction during that time otherwise the perspectives are most likely incredible it is the same thing as going almost to the summit however your further west without recommend this place definitely to go and visit to get it by the sunset or 30 minutes before 30 minutes after Sunset you'll get beautiful perspective of west Montreal basically Westmont...
