Love β€οΈ this glacier fed lake π and beach . Due to the snow has recently melted away the people can now chill here on blankets etc . Some trails for bikes and pedestrians are not entirely cleared of leaves etc they are working on it since the recent snow melt but its still easy to walk around here . They got public washrooms that are open now . The concession stand /rentals is open in summer months . Can't wait to spend summer here at the lake π . The water is ice π§ cold but can be a bit warmer in summer months depending on temperature but out of all the lakes here lost lake in summer months the water is warmer then the other lakes . The beach crowds here are mixture of the party crowd and families . Its a pretty clean beach here compared to its van city beach counterparts type . Lost lake has a lake loop trails π£ . And its close to Fairmount chateau whistler and other hotels nearby and close to downtown whistler . Lost lake loop and park is perfect for this! It's like a natural outdoor running track with scenic views to keep your mind distracted from the torture you're putting your body through! One go around is about 1.25 miles so two loops around becomes a great work out. If you want a more intense work out there are trails that veer off the main loop for miles to other parks or areas of the village and valley trail. Just be careful of bears.
My doggies loves this park because they have designated dog beaches here, where my fur babies can cool off in the lake and work themselves into a frenzy without judgement and the main beach and docks here are in a beautiful setting with an amazing backdrop of Whistler mountain for picnics and sun bathing.
The parking situation can be knarly, I think there are about 15 spots, but during the summer, everyone is here so be ready to get creative with your parking skills. If you are walking here from the village be prepared, it is an uphill inclined walk, that can seem longer that it is because of the sun, but there are shady places to relax in once you get there.
Overall one of the closer parks to the main village in Whistler and an easy way to get a nice work out in while...

There is a small sand beach and in the grassy area there are tables with metal attachments for your portable BBQ as well. We went during the fall so not that many people there and definitely no one BBQing but I imagine in the summer this place could be busy.
We hiked to this location from the P4 parking lot in Whistler which took about 15 to 20 mins through a nice wide trail. However, when we arrived we did not another parking lot here so that would help tremendously with access for this who don't have the means to hike such as wheel chair accessibility.
Definitely worth checking out. Makes for some beautiful pictures and a calm scenic look surrounded by...
