This trail system has the potential to be so great and probably was at one point in time. At the moment it is a neglected pitiful disaster waiting to happen. The decked trails (see photos) with rusty nails sticking up, boards missing and broken, hand rails that are non existent have nothing to do with slope erosion that took place in Jan 2020. What a joke, surely some of the high taxes dollars collected from white rockers could be spent making this space safer. The city of white rock should do the right thing and fix the fixable and most dangerous areas that have nothing to do with slopes and geotechnical engineers. A good quick workout to/from the beach with lots of stairs but enter at...
Read moreThis is the best park in White Rock! It is a green heavily wooded park with 3 separate trails that all lead to White Rock Beach. There are beautiful views of the ocean along the way. Be prepared to walk down a lot of stairs and then all the way back up - it is a short shaded hike which can easily be completed in 40 minutes round trip. There is very little signage at this park. There are a few picnic benches closer to the top of the hill. Parking is paid which is not ideal. There are public washrooms available at the Curling Centre which are very clean and well maintained. Overall I would definitely recommend and...
