This is a fun little museum with some interesting exhibits, but there's a noticeable odor when entering from the gift shop that could be improved. While I appreciate the focus on Indigenous history, I wish there were more content specifically about White Rock’s unique story — such as the Half Moon legend, European settlement, the role of the BNSF railway, and how it evolved into a resort community. The city's decision to form its own police force and community council is a fascinating part of its identity that deserves more attention. There’s so much rich, local history that could be highlighted — beyond the jersey! 😄 It would be great to see more emphasis on White Rock’s community-driven spirit and the people who shaped it. The potential for storytelling here is huge.

Visited as a fan of Psych, left as a fan of White Rock (and also psych!) The museum is small but packed full of information and really interesting displays. The history is well told in an interactive and engaging way. The artefacts really bring the history to life and the artwork is beautiful. All ages are considered and I think would be able to enjoy a visit. There is also a little shop offering souvenirs, artwork, jewellery etc at very reasonable prices. Staff are pleasant and informative.

It’s a tiny free museum (by donation) with a small gallery and a gift shop. If you want to learn about White Rock’s history, this is a good place to come! I wish the train would still stop here! The gift shop is great and the prices are pretty good. Good variety of handmade, local and indigenous items. I’ve come in with my daughter a few times to pick up some gifts. They also had fresh sugar cookies. My favourite item I picked up was a White Rock colouring book.

Closed well before hours posted, then saw someone mopping an hour after posted close time. This really ticked me off. I drove an hour to get there and everything. Ruined a decent chunk of my day.

Was the site of the office in the show, Psych. Was fully prepared to support this location with buying souvenirs and donations and/or buy admission. Also, thought it might be cool to learn the local history... nope, no hour updates or sign in the window stating why closed over an hour early. Just...
