Eastlink Park Ski Hill — Attraction in Whitecourt

Worst customer service employees in the rental dept. Came in with my family of 4. Helped my kids gets their rentals on. Then husband and boys went outside to wait (as only 9 people are allowed in the rental area due to COVID-19. Started to put on my ski boots, 1st pair the insoles kept popping up, 2nd pair i could not get the clips close enough to latch. 3rd pair, I got the 1st boot on with no problem, 2nd boot the latch was a few cm's short. I tried every position, every angle for 20 minutes trying to get the 2nd boot to latch. I was sweating (already took off my coat, toque etc. off but was over heating with my mask on and bending over). For 20 minutes the entire line of people just stood there and watched as they are only allowed to help 1 family at a time. My husband even came back in but couldn't stay/help because there were already 9 people in the rental area. By the time I get the latch to connect I was exhausted, hot, shaking and humiliated. I walked out the door and started bawling in front of the 100 people waiting patiently to get inside. I understand Covid-19 regulations and rules but watching a customer struggle for 20 minutes and not 1 single staff member offering to help is beyond...

This hill is absolutely amazing! The staff were incredibly friendly (giving high fives & positive comments to everyone) and helpful. The amount of terrain blew my mind- we easily spent an entire day on all sorts of well-groomed trails (both in and out of the trees). Another benefit is that it's so easy to keep track of everyone- everything easily funnels to two lifts. The tube ride, fire pits, and picnic tables are a huge bonus!! What a blast for the little ones who didn't ski. As a first-time tuber, I also had a blast!

15 minutes from home there is a Winter park for families to ski, snowboard and ride an epic tube run. Very friendly staff who will politely and clearly explain all the rules, if it’s your first time and you're a little bit confused. Everyone was awesome with us. All equipment is in good condition. Cool lift, too, by the way🤪. The atmosphere is wonderful. It’s great that this place was built for the residents and guests of Whitecourt.
