After hearing rave reviews from other parents, we decided to visit U-Puttz Amusement Centre for a day of family fun, and we were not disappointed! This entertainment hub offers an exciting range of activities, including mini-golf, bumper cars, laser tag, XD extreme (3D attraction ride), and an arcade.
Let's start with the mini-golf. The course was challenging enough to keep everyone engaged, yet enjoyable for all ages. It provided an excellent balance of difficulty and excitement, making it well worth the time spent. This was also the most time consuming as there are 18 holes.
Laser tag was an absolute blast! The option to choose between team play or going solo added a unique twist to the experience. Opting for the solo mode, our group of both kids and adults had a thrilling time running around, strategizing, and competing against each other. The arena was well-designed, adding to the immersive experience. At the end the scoreboard will show in order who got the most points, but it will also show you different categories, like who was the most accurate.
The bumper cars, while entertaining, did have one drawback - the limited space. With the number of cars on the track, it felt a bit crowded, and the fun was slightly compromised. However, once we got the hang of the controls, the bumper cars became enjoyable. The better handling of the cars set them apart from what you might find at other amusement parks.
The XD extreme ride was a hit with our group. The 3D attraction was immersive, taking us on an exhilarating journey filled with excitement and surprises. It provided a thrilling break from the other activities and left us wanting more.
Now, onto the arcade - the only aspect that left us with mixed feelings. While the arcade offered a variety of games, some of them were a bit too pricey for the virtual tickets they provided. This led to a somewhat disappointing experience for the kids when their cards ran out of credits too quickly. We wished there were more affordable options available for the arcade games.
Despite the minor critique regarding the arcade, U-Puttz Amusement Centre offers a memorable family outing with a diverse selection of activities to suit all interests. The laughter and joy shared during our visit made it clear why this place has garnered positive reviews from other parents. It's an excellent venue for creating lasting memories and enjoying quality time with loved ones.
With a few tweaks in the arcade pricing and perhaps some adjustments to the bumper car area, we highly recommend it to families and groups looking for a fun-filled adventure in one...
Read moreWe had a birthday party here for my daughter. We didn't rent a room but we got lucky and it wasn't too busy when we first arrived and we were able to push 3 tables and chairs together. I paid for 7 kids and 1 adult. It is $25/person for unlimited access which means as much mini golf, laser tag and bumper cars you can do, and $10 arcade credit. The $10 arcade credit doesn't last long because most games are either $1 or $2 to play so it might last about 10-15 minutes in the arcade. (The arcade games could use some updating and some were out of service, and some didn't provide tokens either towards a prize selection when your done.) We spent almost 4 hours here in total. The kids did bumper cars and laser tag about 3-4 times and played mini golf (18 holes) 1-2 times. The bumper car time is about 10-15 minutes per round. The laser tag is about 15 minutes per round. We ordered 2-15" pizzas for around $40 which kinda tastes like little Ceasars. Their cafeteria selection looked pretty decent. I saw another patron eating some honey garlic wings which looked pretty good. They are licensed, so mom ordered a glass of wine and I saw other young adults with beers. They didn't have a problem with us bringing in cake/cupcakes for kids or extra water bottles. The washrooms were clean and paper towels stocked. They were cleaning and sanitizing tables, chairs and offering sanitizer to people as they moved from one location to another. It was a good time had...
Read moreI haven't been here but I've noticed that most of the people that have said that the staff at rude are not white. I'm native and I wanted to bring my kids here but I'm not too sure about it now. I don't care about the prices because I'll pay anything for my babies but the customer service needs to be number 1 and a top priority for me to spend money in an establishment. So, I say get staff members who aren't rascist and follow the rules on the website or get them to update the website. Or get staff that does their job correctly and top notch. I'd slap myself in the face of I was doing a crappy job where I work! Please no bad customer service and I'm there!! I use manners by the way and I'm friendly.. but if staff are mean to me I'm not going to let them treat me that way. But.. the place looks amazing and like such fun for kids and for big kids like me. Haha! I really want to come and check this place...
