We were on our way to the zoo and needed a spot for the kids to stretch their legs. This was a 10 minute detour off our route to the zoo but it was exactly what we were looking for.

The park is small but the view is really nice. It's perfect for a quick snack or picnic lunch with a few picnic tables and some grass.

The kids were disappointed there wasn't any playground equipment but they thoroughly enjoyed throwing rocks into the mud, it made a really satisfying "splat" .The tide was out while we were there. At the entry to the park there was a tide schedule.

The park wasn't very busy but we visited early on a...

A stunning piece of land. A piece of world heritage and a pride of Canada. This waterfront park leads to trails that illustrate some of the world's most intense tides. Had the pleasure of visiting when the tide was out and it seemed unearthly. Hard to believe that the water would come all the way up to where we were.

There's a deep history to this land. The Acadians sought to be a farming people, reclaiming the land from the ocean, in this area. It is rich with the dykes that signify their struggle to create a new life.

If ever you stop by Wolfville, take a moment to stroll the dykes and look out...

What an absolutely beautiful place to get together with a group of friends, grab your battery packs and charger cords; get a little tuned up with a couple reefer cigarettes, and play Pokemon GO (not endorsed).

Enjoy all the pokestops, gyms and generic spawns that wolfville has to offer. If you're looking for poke nests; head elsewhere. Try as you may, you will never trigger the ex-raid gym nearby; but dont fret, you can take a leisurely walk to downtown wolfville and get absolutely obliterated with some m8's at the super trashy Anvil, the hipster-ridden Paddys, or the stuck-up swank youll find at...

Very cool spot to visit if you're traveling through. There just happen to be an accident on the 101 so I took a detour and went through Wolfville and stopped to take the pup for a walk and see the fastest tides area anywhere around. Parking is a little bit weird in Wolfville and they like to make you pay for a lot of the parking, but other than that it's a really cool spot to see some history and check out the local scene.
