Great Hall of the People — Attraction in Chongqing

Majestic and beautiful, a historical building that tells of not only Chongqing's but China's history. Tall and colourful, the formality of the place is a stark contrast to all the glamour and bustle of the Chongqing city. Very nice, and when you're there you feel the weight and importance of its history with the red tiles and detailed architecture. Great place to take photos and appreciate China's modern history, thought not a must visit if you're living far away. Good to arrange it together with Three Gorges Museum since they are just a few minutes away...

หนึ่งในสัญลักษณ์ประจำนครฉงชิ่งคือศาลาประชาคม หรือที่เรียกกันในภาษาจีนว่า ต้าหลี่ถัง (Great Hall of the People ; 重庆人民大礼堂) เป็นที่ประชุมสภาผู้แทนราษฎรและยังสามารถใช้เป็นโรงละครสำหรับประชาชน มีความจุได้มากกว่า 4,000 คน

ศาลาประชาคมต้าหลี่ถัง (Great Hall of the People ; 重庆人民大礼堂) ออกแบบโดยการจำลองแบบมาจากหอเทียนถานที่เมืองหลวงปักกิ่ง "ต้าหลี่ถัง" หรือ "ศาลามหาประชาคม" จึงมีความงามและเป็นหนึ่งในสัญลักษณ์ประจำนครฉงชิ่ง

ศาลาประชาคมต้าหลี่ถัง สร้างขึ้นในปี พ.ศ. 2494 โดย จอมพลเฮ่อหลง และสร้างเสร็จสมบุรณ์พร้อมจตุรัสซึ่งเป็นลานกว้างสามารถใช้ประโยชน์ได้อเนกประสงค์ เมื่อปี พ.ศ.2540 ซึ่งพื้นที่ตรงนี้จะเห็นผู้คนเป็นพันๆ คนมาเดิมชมแสงไฟยามราตรี หรือทำกิจกรรม เต้นแอโรบิก เดินเล่น ตลอดจนการจัดนิทรรศการต่างๆ

ต้าหลี่ถัง (大礼堂) เป็นอีกสถานที่หนึ่งที่ผู้มาท่องเที่ยวนครฉง ชิ่งมิอาจพลาดได้ เนื่องด้วยลักษณะพิเศษในการก่อสร้างที่ผสมผสานลักษณะเด่นของยุคราชวงค์หมิงและราชวงค์ชิงเข้าด้วยกัน ทั้งสีสันและรูปแบบการจัดวางโครงสร้างที่มีความโดดเด่น รวมถึงคุณค่าทางประวัติศาสตร์ได้ดึงดูดนักท่องเที่ยวจำนวนไม่น้อยให้มาเยี่ยมชม
