Estaleiros Navais de Lai Chi Vun — Attraction in Coloane

This is a section of the old shipyards at Lai Chi Vun Village just north of Coloane, an important industry in the area that peaked in the mid 20th-century but fell into decline and finally closed down in the 1990s.

The gov restored an area and created a heritage attraction that has only recently opened to the public. You can learn about shipbuilding history in Macau and particularly here at the Lai Chi Vun site. Some model ships, old equipment, film clips form the bulk of displays. 公共空間放置船廠器械、船隻模型以及歷史圖片，使遊人了解這地方歷；有休憩空間，場地配合聖誕節舉辦市集、展覽活動。

現時荔枝碗船廠片區首階段活化開放X11-X15地段，其面積約三千多平方米。片區內設有展覽、巿集、表演空間及工作坊等。

荔枝碗船廠的建設始於上世紀五十年代，並於九十年代先後停止營運。在荔枝碗馬路一側，體量大致相約的船廠以聯排方式沿岸線連續展開並形成群組，部份空間更延伸至相鄰水面之上，構成了人工與自然環境相互融合的特色景觀。荔枝碗船廠片區作為造船工藝的載體，是本澳僅存的且保存較為完整的造船工業遺址，反映了本澳昔日城市的發展進程及當時...
