This is a miss for me, Not bad, but far from good and joins the whole bunch of other asian egg tarts. As this was often being called an Authentic Portuguese Egg Tart, I went in expecting something that could resemble a Pastel de Nata, but, oh boy, I was wrong.
Crust is flaky, but not shattering as you one would have expected from a Portuguese Egg Tart, this is probably the highlight of the show.
Custard is extremely underwhelming and resembles more a hot pudding filling and not a cream.
Don't get me wrong, this is edible, but my expectations fell from a cliff with this one and the lack of Portuguese people in the reviews should have served as evidence.

Read morePaying a visit to Lord Stow's café is strongly recommended to everyone visiting Macao. It's a charming little café offering food, pastries and drinks in Coloane. It has a truly authentic vibe. We had some of their amazing egg tarts at the bakery around the corner before visiting the café, so we stopped by just for a quick coffee break.
