Coloane Karting Track — Attraction in Cotai Landfill Zone

Mediocre overall Go karts are reasonable. Not that fast but not super slow either The track is quite good with a decent mix of high and low speed corners. However there is a large section of the track that is not used for rental drivers. I have seen on YouTube that this part of the track is used for any competition races (usually on shifter karts or 2 strokes). It’s disappointing that this is never used for rental karts and I cannot see any reason why. My guess is they simply do not want to pay to a Marshall or 2 staffed around this section of the track… They also don’t even give you your lap times at the end which is pretty poor service as this seems to be included as standard in any kart tracks I’ve been to in the last several years, some of which have been cheaper than here… They also require that you hold a valid drivers license. The macau go kart track is decent, its relatively simple to register and get yourself started, you just need a driving license. It's also quite cheap as it’s sponsered by the Macau government at $180 for 15 minutes. Make sure to wear long pants or they make you wear a race suit. Good place to lash out some racing vibes and opportunity for competitive racing and little to no pressure / regulation from the staff. Macau Motorsports Club is where you will find a 1.2 kilometre karting track that is considered one of the most challenging in all of Asia. The course and go-karting grounds are located in Coloane along Estrada de Seac Pai Van (bus route 21A) and includes a spectator stand and cafe.
