Guangzhou Tianlong Hotel — Attraction in Guangzhou City

Stayed at this hotel from 3 to 6 Nov and I enjoyed it a lot. This hotel was just renovated in early 2016. It was known as Venice hotel previously.||||Room reservation: I was unable to find a reliable website that I can used to make my room reservation. The hotel location found on Agoda/Booking/Hotel.com are NOT correct! However the location on tripadvisor map is accurate. I have tried dropping an email to Atour Hotel to make my reservation using my Yahoo email but it was blocked by China network. In the end I used WeChat to get my reservation made at 1371RMB (after discount) for 3 nights with daily breakfast. No deposit required, payment was made in full over the counter at the hotel. Communication via WeChat was in Chinese. I'm not too sure if they can communicate in English. ||||Room and service: The room was big and nice. Staff are very helpful and professional. Herbal shower gel, shampoo and conditioner were provided. They also provided fruits, tea and even a tea set for me to enjoy my tea with. Wifi signal is great but I have little use of it since I cannot access to FB and Google. ||||Breakfast: Buffet breakfast is provided. They serve chinese (porridge, noodles, rice, fried dough, dim sum) and western items (coffee, toast, cakes). ||||Transport: The nearest metro station to this hotel is Tiyu West Road station which is roughly about 1km walk. From the metro, take exit E and walk into the underground shopping mall. From the underground shopping mall, exit using the 2nd escalator on your left (not the one near the mango shop). After you exit, you should see the book centre on your right, keep walking straight till you see the car flyover bridge, turn right, walk a little more and you will find the hotel...

This hotel is good for a nights stay. The Rooms were very neat with decent size and all amenities. The Bathrooms were also good. We had very few hours of time at this hotel. The staff did not speak English. We had to check-out in the early morning to catch a Bullet train so did not have a chance to eat their breakfast. But they offered us packed Breakfast which was very very pathetic. It had a single boiled Egg & two small buns that's it. No fruits, No Juice and nothing else. This was the most pathetic packed Breakfast that i have ever had. Even in Africa deep inside the Jungle they give better Breakfast and that too in the very early morning. Hence i gave just 3 stars...
