The location was GREAT, as were all the hotels on my g adventures tour. The room was spacious enough and the bathroom adequate. I did not enjoy the renovations on the shop below my room that revved up at 11.15pm and progressed to circular saw by 11.45 on the night before an early morning departure. I rang the reception, who listened patiently and called my poor tour guide as well as sent security out to ask questions. The staff on reception have limited English, like most places we encountered, but they did try. The location is close to banks, supermarkets, restaurants, markets and across the busy road is a view of a beautiful karst mountain. A wonderful part of China with great things to see and do in the area. Do not miss a Li River cruise, bamboo rafting, the caves and mud bath (though probably unhygienic) and the world class awe inspiring, unique Impression Light Show
