在鯉魚門海鮮街中間一所不大起眼的中心，歷史背景為一所由胡文虎太太陳金枝捐款興建的村校。在1988年殺校後由當地人士倡議、九龍社團聯會協助，賽馬會出資轉型為創意中心。內裏展示學校由四山會館興辦，為當時客家打石工子弟解決就學問題。現時中心內有常設的陶瓷製作中心，由當年在地的萬基陶瓷廠後人的徒弟主理：該陶瓷廠的裝置供應當時大坑虎豹別墅的陶瓷擺設，實有一段歷史追溯。

Great initiative and great tour. Learnt history of Hong Kong in the 1960s....

在地下一層，眼前有多份當年老師証書，當年政府批地証，大量不同的獎盃、獎狀，上課堂用的手搖大鐘；踏入內室，用玻璃窗分間開前後兩室，前爲展覽廳，展品很吸引；後爲製造陶器教室,可向外招生。穿過展品時，展現眼前是一隻麒麟，還有很多植物及學生成品。上二樓梯間轉彎有一幅特色牆像黑板可簽名。在二樓還有一間cafe，設有露天茶座，一旁還種植很多香料，作餐廳自用；以前的兩個課室，現今變成聚會場地。因今日有人包場,未能一一探索環境,只有暫時到此為止...
