Lei Yun Mum was absolutely incredible. The sights were breathtaking. I was fortunate enough to walk into a new Michelin starred restaurant. But little did I know my wallet would be robbed. Anything you consume from soy sauce, snacks or even tissues would be charged. You would also be charged per head depending on where you choose to sit. Indoor seating would be $100 per head or $200 if outdoors. You would not be notified of this when you walk in. Despite this, the food was delicious. Seafood was decent, but borderline too expensive given the amount that we shared. To give you an idea, we had one grouper fish, four scallops, four razor clams, one vegetable dish and a fried rice. Add four-five bottles of beer and it set us back $2,300 ($575 per head) in total. The owner cut us up some fresh mangoes & papayas on the house which went down a treat.
