This restaurant original named happiness seafood but later changed to happy harbour restaurant as the boss opened another Monet Garden a stone throw distance(Chinese Name no change). Although Monet has her own pier for Yards to disembark, the view is not the same as Happy Harbour also the price level will be different as well. At Lei Yu Mun HK, business is transacted separately between Fresh Sea Food and Catering service. It is a rule of thumb that they have their own partner or affiliated aquarium where you go to select or purchase but pay at the restaurant together with catering service fee. Certainly customers for Dinner Seafood are 99% has connections or introduced by reliable connections. Tourist could go Seafood street restaurants for less costly. This is not our first time at this restaurant but we have been lucky to capture a sea view VIP room. We have six adults and the bill is Five Thousand something is really worthwhile. Foods included 3 kg size South Sea King Lobster, Abalone, Fresh Oysters, Prawns, Scallops, Red Garoupa.

An area less touristy and has local HK guests. The seafood picked next door & helped by the young guy was very helpful, fresh. (Not pushy at all). Mantis prawns was done very crispy and slight spicy & salty. Squid was fresh and done just right, not rubbery at all. Bamboo clams were juicy too. Fresh prawns we wanted it done drunken prawns but restaurant Mgr said it will be done drunken sashimi style (ie. intoxicate the prawns & just peel & eat, not cooked!) But we've tried drunken prawns flambe and cooked. So the seafood Chap next door knows how to instruct the Rstn Mgr the style if you want drunken prawns cooked (not raw sashimi!) Overall it was very enjoyable and pleasant as they have a small verandah outdoor seating for the lovely view to HK island and night breeze. Only price was alittle higher than I expected but still great

Overpriced and overcooked We came here to celebrate our family's final night in Hong Kong expecting to enjoy a fresh seafood feast but instead we found ourselves in a tourist trap paying HKD $5000 for 6 adults. After our chosen seafood was bagged in front of us at the fish monger we sat down and the first dish brought over wasn't one of the dishes or seafood we chose. Seemed quite suspicious since there were hardly any other people in the restaurant for them to mix up orders. They also mixed up our chosen mud crab for the more expensive snow crab and we had to rectify the mistakes. This might have been forgiven if the seafood wasn't so poorly cooked. Our mantis prawns were so dry and the scallops had turned to rubbery shreds. On top of that, the waiters hovered behind you changing your plate every 5 mins. On multiple occasions they took away the expensive seafood you were eating with it!!! I felt like I was fighting with the waiter to get a bite of my expensive dry rubber shrimp. Whilst it was a memorable experience for our family that we will not forget 😅, I recommend finding a seafood restaurant far away from this scam street.

Nice seafood restaurant, some tables even have seaview. This place is not those "tourist slaughtering" type but rather packed with locals. Seafood dinner could cost HK$500 per head or more depending on the type and quantity of seafood picked. But it is value for money as the seafood are fresh and delicious. It could be quite full on Friday/Saturday night, so better make a reservation.

I visited this restaurant every now and then. Food is good and price is reasonable in Lei Yue Mun standard. However, service standard is getting worse and worse. I waited the food for almost an hour. I urged for several times but no one seems to bother. We have to find a senior manager at the restaurant's entrance to complain and then the dish comes in 5 minutes! That is disappointing..

We brought mantis shrimp, oysters, clams, fish seafood at one of the outlets as they prepared it for us. It was very fresh and well made. The service they charged was reasonable for preparing it, approximately $2500 HKD. The seafood itself cost $3800 HKD, very reasonable for the quality.
