Sir Cecil’s Ride Viewing Point. (SCRViewing Pt.) There are three viewing spots along the Mt Parker Road . The 1st about 1Km up the road is called Observation Deck, the 2nd along the Road is also called Observation Deck(which proper name should be Sir Cecil’s Ride Viewing Point ,or Choi Sai Woo viewing point near the Jogging Trail.). The 3rd one is further up from Hong Pak Country trail, about 900M called the Mt Butler viewing Point. A fuller view of HK and Kowloon high up on Siu Ma Shan. The SCR viewing point is a good location to see the eastern portion of HK Island and across the sea to view the Old Airport runway now turned into a Passenger Dock for Ocean Cruise Ships. 180 degrees at the other side of a straight line to the west , one can see the Victoria Peak. As such it is good place to take good scenery pictures.
