This is a favorite hike of ours here in the Southern district of Hong Kong. Although much of this trails inclines are concrete steps it has its charm in some of the rocky trails and bamboo shade. The Twins is a challenging hike for beginners, but they will be rewarded with stunning views of Stanley, Tai Tam Country Park and the South China Sea. There are several ways to start this hike, but the main trailhead begins on Stanley Gap Road. By bus alight at the Wilson Trail stop. Enjoy and bring plenty of water and a camera to capture the stellar...

Hiked for countless times, Wilson trail stage 1 is my alternative if I just needed a short hike and when I had plan to do after. The 4th time I hiked here I started in Wanchai at Wanchai Gap Road . The first time I planned hiking Jardine's Lookout but I ended up here because I started the wrong way lol, but I never regret it in spite of the difficulty that I've experienced, the never ending stairs. The hike was worth it! I love the scenery, the trails. It's safe to say I love...

Beautiful and steep but short hike with plenty of stairs and amazing views! Highly recommended. Take water with you and maybe a snack. According to my Garmin, elevation gain was 582m and I took a very relaxed 2hours to cover the 6km walk. I started at Violet Hill, the entrance to the track is not well sign posted ( just some random stairs going up into the trees on the left of a road leading to a hotel) but apart from that, transport to and from the Wilson trail is...

My favourite mountain trail. I love the steep steps with a combination of rocky trail. I'll never get tired climbing those thousands steep steps. Plus the view are truly amazing. You'll got a stairway to heaven and a land of mountains on the other side, just WOW!! My therapist did remind me not go to a steep steps as my sciatica would get flared-up and they are wrong, climbing the steep steps of The Twins helps a lot my sciatica, I may not 100% healed but Im on my way there.
