I almost get lost to find this place . Anyway, this temple square is not that big like Big Buddha statue temple, but it still crowded and popular place for worship. Free entry, people just need to buy incense stick ( there are vendors and people that sell them outside and inside the temple square) Aside from worship there is also fortune telling ... activity(?!) but it likely needs money ( I don't know if I misunderstood the Octopus card machine existence there) that's why I don't try it 😅 . I know its a temple for locals or the least for Chinese/Hong Kong or anyone that can read Chinese characters... but would it not be better if there is more sign in English, after all some of the Statue or Hall explanation is also written in English. Hopefully, in the future I can do the fortune telling ( written) in English , like what I experienced in some...

Wong Tai Sin Temple stands out from most shrines in Hong Kong as it’s not a common practice to have several religions within a single temple. You’ll see typical Chinese architectural designs like red pillars, paper lanterns, memorial archways, Taoist drawings, and carvings of mythical creatures.

Wong Tai Sin Temple is one of the largest Chinese shrines in Hong Kong. Located in Kowloon, it dates back to 1921 and covers the 3 major religions of China – Taoism (Wong Tai Sin), Confucianism (Confucius), and Buddhism (Guan Yin). The temple was built to honor the Great Immortal Wong, a prominent Chinese Taoist deity from the Zhejiang province of China.

Entrance to Wong Tai Sin Temple Hong Kong is free, but you can make a small donation at the entrance if you wish. Avoid flash photography and video recording out of respect for the locals who...
