Grove Café — Restaurant in Hong Kong

I didn't expect the food to be good just like their other branches which are Chinese style sandwiches pretending to be Western but went here as I have not tried this branch. Ordered the Ham and Cheese Panini and here was what I got. Not quite a panini as it was not toasted properly. Secondly, it definitely was not toasted well as the panini texture was like bread and it was cold. If it had been toasted, it would have been impossible for me to take the slice of cheese out. After taking out the processed cheese and weird ham, it tasted so good with just lettuce...

The afternoon tea meal sets here are quite inexpensive, around 40-50$ for one. I do find the portions served to be quite small though. In terms of flavours, they are alright but tipping a bit more toward a little lack of flavours. The service was also average. For this restaurant, you order the food at the counter, then you find yourself a seat and a waitress will bring you the food. Our waitress was a bit rude. She would not answer us for some reason but she would still tell us to be careful when she was bringing food...

I had the worst French toast in my life. I thought it was just a HK traditional French toast with western chocolate as topping, however, it has banana inside, and other sugar on top.
