Sky Fortune Boutique Hotel Shanghai — Attraction in Shanghai

Decent hotel but unfortunately the bad out way the good.||- The hotel plus:||- Great price for value||- Great art work and sculptures||- Great workout area||||The hotel negatives:||- Staff does not know their own hotel, Room Service is terrible, they didn't even know the menu in the rooms, especially breakfast. ||- Staff does not speak great English so tourists beware||- Gym is a bit far and it is shared with local area so pool will be busy with classes||- Hotel is not secure and staff make many dangerous decisions concerning guest safety||(My room door was opened at night by guests who had access to my room, but the chain on door stopped them, then an hour or two later another guest tried to enter my room and rang the door bell several times until I told him wrong room and go away) - I called down and the hotel manager said sorry they were drunk and confused, seriously that's all he said||- Restaurant made us spend 2,000 REN in food in order for us to sit in private room, when we tried to tell them we didn't want private room they said they were full and that was the only option. ||- Carpets in that hotel and cleanliness are compared to Roadway Inns in the states, so you should always wear shoes in the room, (This is pretty common in China because they don't use vacuums often. ||||Beyond this the hotel is located in a safe area and located next to many good restaurants, plus not far from Foreign Street where tourists...

Ho soggiornato in questo hotel perchè non disponibili camere in un altro hotel nella stessa zona...e purtroppo questa scelta è stata delle peggiori.||L'aspetto esteriore e quello della hall possono lasciare senza fiato e piuttosto soddisfatti aumentando così anche le aspettative riguardo le camere. La lobby è molto ampia e ci si trovano delle statue e dei reperti archeologici che potrebbero far invidia a qualsiasi museo. Le tempistiche di registrazione del check-in è stata abbastanza veloce. Quindi fin qui, esperienza positiva.||Ora viene la parte peggiore: una vokta arrivato in camera, si vede subito che gli arredamenti possono essere della stessa età dei reperti archeologici e purtroppo lo si vede anche nell'usura. Oltre a questo, segnalo muffa sul soffitto e una moquette indescrivibilmente sporca e lo potete vedere anche nelle mie foto. Chiedo quindi di cambiare camera e mi dicono di aspettare 30 minuti ed infatti mi chiamano e mi assegnano un'altra camera al nono piano. In questa, gli arredi sono gli stessi ma la moquette è più decente(ovviamente non del tutto pulita...scherziamo?!?)...c'è un altro problema però, l'aria condizionata non funziona e in camera ci sono 30 gradi. Accendo l'aria tentando di abbassare la temperatura ma è solo calda quindi la stanza si scalda ancora di più. Chiedo quindi nuovamente alla reception che la camera ha questo problema e mi dicono che mi avrebbero inviato un manutentore: torno in camera e trovo una cameriera che tenta di sistemare la cosa e tenta di dirmi qualcosa in Cinese, non parla una parola di Inglese. La sua soluzione: aprire la finestra! Al nono piano...in una delle città più inquinate del mondo...e l'hotel si trova proprio su un incrocio trafficatissimo, quindi potete immaginare il rumore. Ovviamente faccio intendere di non farlo assolutamente! Arriva quindi la responsabile del piano: questa tocca qualche pulsante dell'aria e vedendo che non funziona...mi dice che chiama il manutentore...che alla fine arriva e dopo 30 minuti sistema il problema. Peccato che faccia cadere il filtro dell'aria e non vi dico la polvere che non è stata pulita.||Nell'hotel c'è un'area fitness...peccato che per raggiungerla dovete o uscire dall'hotel e fare un giro all'esterno perchè la palestra è in un altro edificio, oppure dovete andare al secondo piano, passare davanti all'ingresso di un ristorante e con un passaggio interno, arriverete alla palestra.||Il personale, tranne quello della reception e quello del bar, parla solo ed esclusivamente Cinese.||In conclusione, scelta pessima e io personalmente...

I was there for the 2nd time after 2013. Unfortunately, it did not improve. |Check in was still ok. 1st room did stibk, so I needed to change. Not good.|2nd room ok , but airco not working, still "too early" to switch to cooling. Why ? The room had 27 C and I ended up to ask the room service to open the window, which was at least possible. It was cool enough outside to cool the room . Bed was OK. I did not test food. Fitness was outstanding , all new Technogym machines. |Check out was super slow. Reminded me on the old Soviet Union.ast not least, the bell Captain did not get me a Taxi to Hongqiao Airport, I had to practically, force a driver from the street. |Well, probably not...
