The River Mall — Attraction in Shanghai

Absolutey massive shopping mall - long enough to have a Metro station at either end, and several floors. Lots of food and shopping, plus activities for the kids - the top floor has so many things.

I went on a weekday, so it was rather quiet, but I can imagine it being quite hectic at night and on the weekends.

I used it as my last destination before my flight out of Shanghai. Easy to get around with a wheeled suitcase, and then you can use Line 7 from Yaohua station to get to LongYang station to transfer to either Line 2...

This is the former site of the Shanghai World Expo, which was turned into a shopping mall. Meanwhile it could use some renovations, it is clearly not the most attractive shopping mall in town. Also its architecture, a straight line that spans over a kilometer in length is not the best experience.
