Vida Park — Attraction in Armenia

This is my favorite place to go in Armenia. It coasts 4,000 pesos to enter and it’s only cash. The park has a lot of different kind of birds, fishes and guatins. You can purchase corn at the gate for 1,000 pesos and feed it to the animals at the park. The birds are pretty friendly and they will chase you if they see you holding a bag of corn so be ready. Closes at 4pm at hottest time of day. Should allow people in until at least 6pm because the weather is cooler for walking. When a tourist arrives in the afternoon and eats lunch there is no time left to see the park and then I leave too early in the morning for another destination and is far from hotel. Armenia wants you to sit in cafe and sip hot coffee on hot day while park closes as it gets fresh outside. Walked 30 minutes from hotel in heat of day...

Great park with lots of green zones for the kids to play as well as a beautiful walk way that goes past ponds and forested areas. There is a running track that is sometimes used for skating and during Christmas large sections of the park are illuminated with great Christmas lights displays. Highly recommended.
