Parque de las Chimeneas — Attraction in Itagüí

This park has changed drastically throughout the last couple years. It used to be an actual park but got shut down. It was essentially wasted space for so long. Itagui has really taken the initative to increase the estetics of its space and make better use of it. They demolished the park and created an open space with an archetectual monument. ( no idea what it is or why its there actually) However, much better than what is was before. I see people doing exercise and gathering there in the evening. Great effort. Good change! This is a park that conserves part of the history of Itagüí. There was a factory there a too much time ago and its chimney remains. It's a good place to go to sit there on its chairs.
