THIS TOUR WAS THE BEST! When you get to Salento you’ll have loads of coffee farm tour options but Luger is the ultimate experience. This was 100% our favourite part of Salento. A quick Jeep ride to the coffee farm you can buy your tickets for the tour at the Jeep booth in town was amazing $45000 for the tour $8000 for jeep there and back it’s cheaper than most tours to my knowledge and is better than all of them. Shoutout to Alejandro our guide who gave us a great immersive experience. Learn about the coffee process learn about the farm itself coffee culture in Colombia compared to the rest of the world (Our favourite part) putting on some outfits to go and pick coffee beans in the farm. Alejandro demonstrates and let us participate in the process of turning those beans into pure Colombian hand picked coffee that we then got to drink. It was so much fun, very rewarding Me and my mate left with 2 bags of coffee each from the farm (so much better than getting it from town - Tinto coffee). And while our jeep was over 20mins late on the way back, Kevin was very accommodating and we were welcome to hang around the farm while we waited for our jeep and even offered to call them up if they didn’t arrive, which eventually they did. Overall A MUST when in...

If you’re looking for an authentic, family owned coffee tour experience in Salento this is the tour for you! After doing a lot of research on coffee tours in the area we settled on this one because of the reviews that mentioned small group sizes, organically grown coffee, and family owned and operated— and we were not disappointed! My partner and I were the only ones who showed up for the 12pm tour on a Saturday, so we ended up with a private tour. Our guide, Marlon, was incredibly knowledgeable about the entire coffee production process from start to end, and was friendly & personable with a great sense of humor. The tour was very hands on and we got to learn about and be involved in the entire process from start to finish. The coffee was delicious and we ended up buying 5 bags at the end! It was apparent to us that the family that owns this farm is very passionate about making good quality coffee, and isn’t just producing coffee for profit. All of the coffee that is produced here is only sold at the farm, there is no other place in the world you can buy it. Overall we felt this was the perfect tour for us and we were so happy with our entire experience. If you’re picky about choosing the perfect experience like I am— look no further,...

Well now I get why this place has perfect reviews! We had the best time. Thank you Lionel! We arrived close to the last tour of the day (4pm( and it was just the two of us and our tour guide. He has very kind and fun. We spent two hours learning about coffee and doing all steps of the process ourselves. From picking the cherries, to roasting them and brewing our own coffee. What a beautiful way to spend our afternoon. Zero complaints and we bought some coffee to take home. I don’t know how this tour could have been better.

The tour does not need to be booked in advance. I was worried about the reservation and texted them on whatssapp before hand. You can show up at the main square 50 minutes before the start of your, buy the tickets in the only booth there that include transportation back and forth (53 for one person: 45 the tour and 8 transport both ways). The car leaves exactly 30 minutes before the start of the tour. It takes about 15 minutes to get there. You are welcomed by a cup of coffee while you wait for others to arrive, but in our case no one did and we had a private tour. They said it’s almost never more...

What an experience! Amazing tour, very authentic, and Kevin is such a fantastic guide. From the moment we started the coffee tour, Kevin's passion for coffee shone through. His knowledge and enthusiasm were contagious, and he made the entire experience educational and fun. We got to see the entire coffee-making process from bean to cup, and it was fascinating. The coffee plantation was stunning, surrounded by lush green mountains. We learned so much about the history of coffee, the cultivation, and the significance of coffee in Colombian culture. Kevin's storytelling added a personal touch that made this tour memorable. The highlight was, of course, the tasting session. We got to savor some of the finest Colombian coffee, and Kevin's expertise in helping us appreciate the flavors and aromas was impressive. I can't recommend this coffee tour with Kevin enough. If you're in Salento and love coffee, this experience is a must. Gracias, Kevin, for making this tour a highlight of our Colombian adventure!
