Playa Grande en Cahuita — Attraction in Cahuita

We headed past Playa Negra to see what the next beach was like. 5/5 for cleanliness and solitude, most of the time, even on a Saturday afternoon, we were alone. No music, no loud people, just the roar of the ocean. One lady was even bathing topless. Unfortunately, as has been the case everywhere around here this week, the waves have been quite high for much swimming, but really it didn't get any better than this on our trip...

Very long and beautiful black sand beach, but we were warmed by a local about the dangerous riptide. At some point some of the wave crests were brown instead of white.
