Lokrum Ferry — Attraction in Dubrovnik

Even though the ferry ride costs 27€ for both ways, it’s totally worth it. You can buy the ticket online and can take the ferry anytime during the date of the ticket. Go to the island early in the morning. Make sure to pack enough water, food and sunscreen and you can spend the whole day by the waters. There isn’t any proper beach on the whole island, only rocks, but it’s so nice with warm weather. There is hidden cave with a pond of water and if you are a solo travelling go there and enjoy the whole day out in the sun. Try to leave around 4pm because later ferries get too crowded. Worth the price of visiting a beautiful and historic island, although quite expensive. So if you are going to invest the time and money to visit the island, make sure to relax and enjoy it for a few hours. Also, heads up- the boat leaves the port in Dubrovnik promptly at the half hour. However, it leaves the port on Lokrum as soon as the passengers waiting in the dock all board which is rarely exactly by the half. Hour. IF YOU HAVE CITY PASS MAKE SURE YOU TELL THEM! There’s a pretty good discount with the pass. If i had it to do over i’d bring a bottle of wine, some snacks and make a day of it. Great for getting away from the city crowds. Boat was pretty much in time and seemed efficient.
