Beach Dražica — Attraction in Grad Krk

Was here the first weekend of september. The beach is located under the hotel, it's concrete and when you go in the water it's sandy and quite warm, without any current - the water is very shallow in the whole bay. Unfortunately this is also a reason the water isn't clean at all, it feels like a big pool and since there are no toilets around (except if you walk all the way to the 1€ coin toilets next to the parking for the Koralj beach or walk all the way up to your hotel room) you literally see people just going in this shallow water to pee.There is a rather noisy aquapark for kids at the beach, loungers are pricey and without shade. The only plus would be the hotel beach bar which is good and has very friendly staff, but no toilet and a barely working shower, which is the only one on this beach. Since you feel a bit dirty after a bath here, you'd have to walk for a proper beach shower to Koralj beach, but we couldn't find anyone that sold the coins for the showers over there. Dressing cabins are a walk up the stairs, but in both cabins the fabric is ripped in the middle and I found myself there with an exhibitionist who flashed his weener through the fabric, which felt unsafe. This beach is right under hotel Koralj where hotel guests obviously came to holidays. For majority of adults holidays means quiet and relaxing atmosphere. This beach becomes crowded every afternoon with local kids who play in the shalow water and scream and shout non stop for the whole afternoon. Oh, and remember that you paid 10 eur per a beach chair and now you have to suffer the endless noise the whole afternoon. What a catastrophe for a vacation and what a stupid decision from hotel Koralj to allow kids to play where they have their hotel guests trying to enjoy...

Beach lockated in beautiful place. Water is blue as sky. Sunny and shadowy spots. There are stones in the water. But also big spot with white soft sand. We did not use any special shoes to swim on this beach. Lots of families with kids. Restaurants and ice...
