Marjan Park is a true gem for nature lovers and those seeking a tranquil escape, often referred to as the "lungs of the city," this area offers a serene retreat from the bustling city center. The beaches around Marjan Hill, such as Kašjuni Beach and Bene Beach, are less crowded compared to other popular spots in Split. The secluded coves offer a peaceful environment where the sounds of cicadas can lull you into a state of relaxation better than any lullaby. One of the best ways to enjoy Marjan Beach is by setting up a hammock between the trees, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the natural beauty. For those who prefer a more active holiday, the park is perfect for jogging, cycling, and hiking, especially in the early morning or late evening when the temperatures are cooler.

Marjan hill is a wonderful place to get a panoramic view of the city of Split. The climb is quite easy and the view is worth it. The park is huge and one can spend a lot of time here! Definitely something to do while in Split ! Don't forget to carry food and water and wear comfortable clothes and shoes as Split is quite hot in the summer months !

Kilka razy krążyłam wśród domów i podwórek mieszkańców zanim odnalazłam właściwą ścieżkę (i to wszystko dzięki podpowiedzi miłego staruszka napotkanego na ulicy). Wejście na teren parku jest bezpłatne.
