Kavana Procaffe — Restaurant in Grad Split

This is a seafront cafe and the main attraction of it seems to be the sea. I had cafe latte here and it was pretty disappointing. Had cheesecake too, but I’m scratching my head at other reviewers who proclaim how great the cakes are. I think they’re definitely not bad, but not amazing and certainly not great. Come here if you’re into sipping coffee/tea and eating cake by the sea (it was really hot in June though, so that wasn’t appealing to me anyway). But I’d say don’t come here specifically for coffee or cake. Great vibes, good service, but really average coffee and cakes. Just wanna recalibrate the expectations because of how weirdly positive the other reviews are, which definitely overhyped this cafe for me :)

First of all, we had to wait more than half hour and anyway nobody comes to take our order, we had to go to bar and find someone. Then, it turned out that they haven't any food, only cakes. We ordered 5 different cakes and drinks, and must admit, it was great. But the service is terrible. Waiter asked us pay immediately, because his shift was over. And to pay by card I had to go to the bar again, because terminal only at the bar. They brought broken glass of water (with coffee), big TV wasn't work and nobody cares. In general, I was upset, I expected much more atmosphere and service.

And as the final step, at the end, another waiter didn't believe that we already paid, despite I showed receipt, he took it and go to the bar again to confirm that we really paid for our meal. That was...

One of the most popular caffe bar in Split.It has two outside and two indoor seatings.The coffe is great and the cakes too.We had a snickers and a raspberry cake which were both amazing.A little bit smaller portions and the prices are a bit high but it is justified.The outside area has a great view of Kaštela and Lora and it is located right next to the sea.The inside area is decorated in an antique style which is great.All in all,I could write forever, but it is truly amazing and good.Totally recommended to come here and enjoy a coffe and cake by the...
