This is tricky to review - it's one of those places that is going to be brilliant for some, but a bit 'something of nothing' for others.

For me, it was the latter. I experienced it from the top looking down. It was ok, pretty enough but not much to see really - couple of snaps and that's about it. BUT, I can see the potential for it being amazing for others - some people had climbed down on to the rocks below and were swimming and exploring and generally looked to be having a great time!

So for me it very much depends on what you are looking for and how adventurous you are.

Not far off the beaten track, so go take a look if you are not sure!

Some nice bananas growing by the...

Been going to sea caves for 10 years. Went for Sunday souvla which was excellent as normal. The thing that spoilt it. I waved to the waitress to get a round of drinks when she did not move I asked one of the sisters who passed the table for drinks. A little later the waitress arrived with a beer for me. I pointed out that drinks had arrived and I never ordered the beer. When the bill arrived the extra beer was on the bill. I pointed this out and received abuse from a local waiter telling me that I had ordered it. He even brought the beer to our table with the bill. After 10 years of great service we will not be returning. The local male waiter...

Vast unique stunning landscape. Great for snorkelling, crystal clear waters. No facilities so bring water / shade etc. Many seem to make a short visit to take in the breathtaking views. From the car park either head straight down the hill or explore along the caves to the left or right. I prefer the right (as you look at the sea). If you have mobility issues, stick to the paths. There’s also horse riding but you’ll have to research. Unofficial but you may see some nudism- it’s a vast area so plenty of space to avoid people of you want quiet relaxing...

We did a couple of hours snorkeling here on a Sunday afternoon. Water is clear and warm. Saw a few fish but not many. Lots of blue small fry, a couple of red mullet and a couple of sea bream. The light coming through the caves under the water was very pretty. No facilities, bring lunch and water to drink. The path down and up is moderately easy to navigate but good shoes and sturdy footing is required. Getting in and out can be tricky due to the slippery rocks and saline water. On balance, was a nice swim but not many treats for snorkelers.
