We went there with the intention of having a light lunch or just drinks. As we arrived, a couple came out so I asked them if the food was good. They said they wouldn't answer that question but recommended we only had drinks, from which we understood meant they had not particularly enjoyed the food.
The young staff were very polite and friendly. We ordered two different milkshakes, chocolate and strawberry but when they arrived, there was very little difference in the colour. They were both a pale off-white colour and neither had any flavour.
I told two different servers the milkshakes had no flavour and they both told me to take them to the bar or kitchen and speak to the staff there.
The owner/Manager came out and I explained about the lack of flavour and asked him to add more chocolate syrup or flavouring. I am a very polite person but he was angry and said " Why are you causing a problem? Other people do not complain". I said that I wasn't causing a problem and I just wanted my chocolate milkshake to taste of chocolate and please could I have some more chocolate in it. Again he accused me of causing a problem and if I wanted more flavour I had to pay extra for another scoop of chocolate icecream. Considering these tasteless milkshakes were already costing 6 euro each, I decided just to pay my bill and leave.
The servers apologised to us not enjoying our meal and from watching other customers' plates going back to the kitchen it was clear that others were also not impressed with their meals.
The garden did had lovely views of the sea and the Sea Caves but I would not recommend this place for food or drinks that were made on the premises, only for Branded bottles of drinks. That's a shame as the young staff...

Tucked away from the bustling main road, nestled in the arms of nature, lies the Sea Caves restaurant in Pegeia. While the drive can be a bit long, it's easily navigable with the help of GPS. The journey is worth it, as what greets you is an open air setting that's nothing short of beautiful. A cozy, family-friendly spot, the establishment is a modest setup with a tent, a small kitchen, and a captivating view of the rough sea.
The panoramic vista of the sea and the stunning sunset are the real winners here, providing an unparalleled ambiance that soothes the soul. Watching the sun slowly descend into the sea as the evening turned to dusk was a highlight of our visit, a scene that was simply priceless.
In terms of entertainment, the pleasant background music added a comforting rhythm to our evening. However, when it came to their food and drink offerings, there was room for improvement. Despite the idyllic location and charming setup, the culinary experience was somewhat underwhelming and didn't quite match the overall ambiance.
Yet, despite these minor shortcomings, our experience at Sea Caves was enjoyable. It's not just about dining, but an immersion in nature's grandeur and serenity, a sensory delight brought alive by the enchanting surroundings. If you're seeking a relaxed evening with a spectacular view, and not prioritizing a gourmet meal, this place is certainly...

Visited with my wife and two children. Ordered 2 x glasses of wine. One wine glass was cracked but I did not realise until I had poured my wine into the glass. We were provided with an additional glass and wine.
We were charged for an additional wine and we obviated challenged why. We were rudely told that I was our fault. My wife calmly discussed this with the large barman who told her off for having an opinion. I paid the bill and told him he was “out of order mate”. He proceeded to exit from behind the bar and chase me down the pathway to try to fight me while I was holding my one year old son. He was restrained by the remainder of the bar staff. I have never experienced anything like this at a bar or restaurant…….my seven year old son was very upset...
