Broke my back at the foam pit. I'll consider my own fault here and not blame the facility for it. What is appalling was the way the employees reacted. Imagine, lying in the foam pit with your back broken, thinking you may not be able to move. you try to wiggle toes and fingers, victory you are not paralysed! You get your group to call for help to get you out of there safely. Well since you can move, we can't get you out and you need to get out yourself, was the answer from the staff. Well ok, you get yourself out, likely moving the broken bones causing more damage, never mind, you are not made of sugar, you can handle it! The employees argue if they should bring me ice or not, the decision is yes, ice it, it will be better. In the meantime you call your doctor friends/family on what to do. The advice, go to the hospital, you. may be severely injured as you have funny feeling in your arms. Ok, you ask the staff to call you an ambulance, after all you did see the stories in the news when driving to the hospital yourself can cause more problems if you have a spine injury. Well the staff will not call an ambulance for you, because last week this same thing happened the ambulance people were annoyed and you should really think if you're taking an ambulance from someone else. OK then, let's drive ourselves, signing some random document for the staff on exit, did you sign a waiver for any law suits? Likely, were you asked to read or told what I'm signing, no. Your stupidity, but well your back is still broken and you really can't think straight in the moment. You get to the hospital, expecting the same breezy nothing's wrong with you treatment as you were getting in the jumppark. Surprise Surprise no, get a CT, run multiple tests, do not move you are in trouble. Well ok maybe you should have insisted on the ambulance then. You talk to all your friends and colleagues explaining you will not work for a month or so, what does everyone ask you? WILL YOU SUE? well probably you can't, but also you just want to move forward, be glad you survived, you can move (sort off) and you will be calling the proper authorities to check the places safety and the staff training. This way hopefully nothing like this will...
Read moreThe jump park it self is nice and I wish we had something similar here in Canada.
My biggest issue with the facility is that I have witnessed a little boy getting injured. ( I think he sprayed / broke his ankle - it got swollen within 5 minutes after the incident..)
During the 2 hours I was there, I saw no supervisor. Not even one! There was easily 80-100 kids. I understand that people who enter the facility are responsible for themselves.. but a supervision is needed especially when jumping is extremely dangerous.
At $20 per hour entry fee, I expect that there is a nurse working full time ! I advised a young girl with a terrible attitude, that there is a kid injured. At the time I approached her, she was busy looking at her cell phone!!!!!!! Unbelievable! I proceeded to fallow her .. she opened a book, and asked the little boy if he was in pain. The boy was crying and said he is not, yet, he was crying!!!! She then told him to move his ankle left and right.. I asked her if she was a doctor or had any training in medical field. She responded “mind your own business “ My question is : why the parents or emergency wasn’t called right away.
So with no luck there I went to another worker at the refreshment bar and asked to speak with a manager. She said there’s no manager there and asked me if I was the little boy’s mom. . Again.. UNBELIEVABLE!!
As I was leaving the facility, I hear the first worker telling another coworker what I said to her… that this can only happen in Czech Republic - most people just do not care about anyone and service here is mostly BAD. Of course I compare this with North America where people cares about other peoples well being, especially kids is the NUMBER ONE priority..
Will Never go back there. Bad service, rude young workers with disgusting attitude who show no respect when people trying to help.
Parents, be careful where you send your...
Read moreWe visited the trampoline park on a Tuesday morning and were totally surprised – we had the entire place to ourselves! It felt like a private playground, which made the experience even better.
There’s a ninja training course, lots of different types of trampolines to try out, and even a foam pit where you can push each other off a balance beam – definitely a highlight!
It was so much fun, we didn’t want to leave. Highly recommended, especially if you can go during...
