Lighthouse — Attraction in Aarhus Municipality

Stay at "Elite Stay" apartment 36.th floor:

Prebooked parking, but they tried to calculate like "every day", not 24 hours as stated on the carparks website,so be aware of it and try to get your rights and don't pay full

Didn't know, that you can NOT come in and go out of the carpark without noticing the "host" several minutes before ... So first I had to pay 50 DKK because of this ... And never got it back nor got any excuses (they changed the parking plan next day, but didn't let me know... I had to ask Several times, very annoying)

If you prebook linen, towels and maybe for parking, you have to deposit cash (or pay via dkk bank transfer) until a certain time in the key locker ... We didn't know that (the certain time), wanted to do that later because of the typical "check in stress" with a small baby, but they forced us to put the money in and threatened us with penalties... I had no cash at that time and had to go to an ATM in a very unsuitable situation for us, It was a very bad start !!

The dryer (with our prebooked linen, towels and so on) and the dishwasher (nothing was left in the kitchen) were still on at check in at about 3.30 pm (dryer lasts about 5 !! hours until we shut it off and got wet stuff out of it - was just packed too full )

The host said, they "upgraded" us and actually it would cost like 400 DKK extra (there is NO "extra" room available for booking.... never was and never will eventually) and justified this situation with that (which for us is totally nonsense) .. but no excuse again at all!

There were dirty towels in the bedroom closet and additionally the host said "of course the dryer doesn't need more time, besides somebody shut it off" ..... No words needed)

The apartments floor was so dirty, all of our socks and our baby's foot were BLACK after a few minutes. Right before checkout there were more and more water in the bathroom and then we discovered there was some kind of bucket in the basin to hold the water from dripping to the floor because of a big leak... Same leak at the showerhead, it was splashing everywhere, not to mention there was no opportunity to close the shower..

The apartment looks right to eastern direction and there are NO curtains or any possibility to change the color of the glass or anything like that. So at 4.30 am in the morning you will be blinded by the sun... And if you are a light sleeper or had a tough day (like we had...) don't expect to go to sleep before 10.30 ...

Worst thing about, until now no excuse at all! The host just ignored all of my serious questions and sometimes was really rude and disrespectful! It was very annoying... It was such a weird experience... And because of that, I sometimes had to "spam" his inbox... because I had to repeat everything several times, but he didn't answered in a way, I was expecting a host would do to his guests... It was like talking to a very bad "Bot" oO...

The Aarhus Øje is a perfect place for wonderful overview on Aarhus and especially Aarhus Ø with its mixed architecture. Furthermore, you can also visit the exhibition in the basement or the bar in the top. For us, this has been a great spot and we totally recommend to visit it, when you...

Certain diront que le prix est cher mais j'ai trouvé cela correcte, pour 17€ il y a accès à l'étage 44 et la superbe vue sur le port et la ville en empruntant un super ascenseur ! Il y a accès à un resto bar sympathique sur le même étage.

La visite ce poursuit avec l'exposition au niveau -0 Comme écrit avant d'entrer dans l'Expo il faut installer une application pour pouvoir scanner les QRcode et lancer les vidéos et l'audio ( attention à la batterie) De nombreuses personnes ne font pas attention au panneau devant l'escalier menant à l'Expo et ne comprennent pas comment lancer les vidéos et avoir les explications alors attention ! Mais expo enrichissante sur la faune, la flore et l'histoire du port de Aarhus !
