For clarity, I went to the surrounding gardens, not the castle itself. It has wide open spaces. If you visit on a fine day, you can do all sorts of great outdoor stuff. However, I dont think there are a lot of toilets closeby. I'd definitely revisit if the weather permits, the next time...

The best experience you can have it with your foot without using money in Aarhus is going through a beach. The best one is Marselisborg Strand definetly closest to beach, forest and town and dear park. Everything is in one place. You go there you reborn!...

For clarity, I went to the surrounding gardens, not the castle itself. It has wide open spaces. If you visit on a fine day, you can do all sorts of great outdoor stuff. However, I dont think there are a lot of toilets closeby. I'd definitely revisit if the weather permits, the next time I'm in Aarhus.

I love this place. Always come here when in Århus. This time with my baby girl (1.5y). It's a lovely park and you get a chance to come really close to the animals. Well worth a visit, just remember carrots or apples for the deer.

I love this place. Always come here when in Århus. This time with my baby girl (1.5y). It's a lovely park and you get a chance to come really close to the animals. Well worth a visit, just remember carrots or apples for the deer.
