The best public park in Valby. Huge with great open areas, a great fresbee golf course (free, but you have to have your own fresbees, no rentels available), an amazing playground for children in all ages with public toilets and waterposts open in the daytime during summer. There is a local restaurant in the middle of Valbyparken called Café Rosenhaven, which sells burgers, smoerrebroed and standard café dishes. Local, very danish and value for money. Been there myself a couple of times. The south edge of Valbyparken is towards the bay area and you can go to the park by foot, public transportation (end point of bus 4a), car (free parking) or bike. You have a vide variety of gardens to see: small gardens with different themes, a large rose garden (summer), beautiful dalia flowers (summer/late summer) and even the sea (and a small beach). It's very well maintained and is great for both relaxing, talking a long walk and even large enough to go for a run 👌

If you're more for an active day out, then you have a large playground, beach volley fields, football goals, disc golf and ample green grass fields to just play around 💪
