The art was good but the museum could improve its wayfinding system. During my visit, I kept walking in circles because it wasn’t clear where to start or which way to go. I also couldn’t find an English version of the map at the ticket counter.
In the restrooms, the male and female icons were designed quite similar. Although there were large portraits of male and female characters at the entrance to help indicate the rooms, some visitors might assume these are just decorations and rely only on the icons.

Read moreLocal exhibition of famous painters with the original art work from famous artists. Well informed tour with stories from the artists own life and daily life from the time period of the different artists. Both entertaining and educational for both kids and adults. Only a small part of the total exhibition- but a bit disturbing and a shame. Everything else...

The building has been extended since I last visited - tasteful, modern, beautifully finished, and in keeping with the original. The only downside for me was being challenged very peremptorily for taking a bag in and asked whether I had bought a ticket - which I had. It was a mistake at the desk, not by me. So mind your P's and Q's when you visit, but if you're in...
