I could give 2 stars because it was very clean and the staff very friendly, but I want to make aware to others that this place has seen better days. Overpriced for what they offer. 3 adults and a child 900 kr for a single visit, this is a crazy price for what we got.
Basically, you pay for having different experimental areas on different floors, not much different to some public libraries with gratis access. Then, playgrounds are fancy but very minimalists, like having just too little to offer but a mattress on the floor.
When we visit it, I can say that 25% of the space was fenced for "recontruction"? there was basically nothing inside and seemed just random stuff stored inside.
In the rooftop, there was a zone closed which reduced the space to the half and the rest of the equipment was too old, too wasted and again many broken.
For the money paid for one day ticket, they could have renewed it time ago or repaired it. Or a price discount because what is advertised is not working. The current status of most of the things is too deteriorated.
Having said that, many stations were out of order or broken. So imagine to pay full price just to see that most is broken or bad state that makes it useless.
We have visited some other playgrounds with more fun and cheaper. Our 3 years old son could only enjoy 5 stations. An older boy up to 12 years old, might enjoy half of them, so basically is a waste of money.
I do not find as entertainment to have stations that just have paperboard printings on how important is reciclying, which is true but that you can also find in libraries for free.
I see little reason to come back and sure not to pay for a yearly card. For such high price what this establishment offers es very deteriorated and out of order. It really needs a full renovation, so I do not foresee that in 3 months anything might change.
But if you dont care about money, then you find here a place to be distracted...
Read moreVisited during Summer holiday, family with a 3 and 5-year old. clearly packed full of interactive stations and exhibits, most of which will occupy hours of entertainment for the kids (if the adults can keep up)
far too overcrowded to the point where it can border overwhelming, and this doesn't change as the day goes on ironically poor accessibility for prams for an experience geares toward kids - once you've queued to enter you then have to queue 10 minutes to access one of the 2 elevators copenhagen card/discount scheme - because of it's far distance from the centre of Copenhagen, they rely on Copenhagen card and up to 20% discounts to users of certain ferry lines to ensure influx of custom, which results in a reduced experience for everyone, in particular full-price payors restaurant - food is confused/unimaginatively themed considering the nature of the building and overall average, and that's after you've waited in line for ages to order then collect your food - a visit to the restaurant saps your motivation to tackle the rest of the building thereafter unfortunately
Overall, this attraction has the potential to be excellent, but it's poor accessibility, inability to control influx of people, general apathy and disengagement of it's staff, and it's sheer gruelling nature, means that whilst the kids will have a great few hours, the parents will leave with a feeling of pure...
