A must-visit for any amusement park fan! Bakken is the oldest amusement park in Scandinavia, and it's easy to see why it's been a popular destination for over 150 years. The park has something for everyone, from thrilling roller coasters to family-friendly rides. And with its charming setting in Klampenborg, Bakken is the perfect place to spend a day out with friends or family. Some of the park's most popular rides include the Rutschebanen, a wooden roller coaster that was built in 1932; the Cirkus, a spinning coaster that was built in 1984; and the Kanonen, a drop tower that was built in 2003. But there are also plenty of other rides to choose from, including bumper cars, a carousel, and a Ferris wheel. In addition to the rides, Bakken also has a number of other attractions, including a petting zoo, a playground, and a restaurant. And if you're looking for something to do after dark, the park has a number of light shows and events that take place throughout the summer. Overall, Bakken is a great place to visit for a fun-filled day out. It's affordable, family-friendly, and has something for everyone. I highly recommend it! It's so awesome that we got to visit the oldest amusement park in the WORLD! This place has fun rides and many places to eat at. Most of the places are buffets and they kind of serve the same things ish, but the pricing is fair :) We spent about 4 - 5 hours there. Almost never waited in line for any rides! The longest line I had to wait in is to get my ride pass wristband. Even though I bought our tickets/passes online already, we still needed to wait in the ticketing line to get our ride wristbands. I would say that ride safety protocols here are not the best. An example is - we went on the ride where the cars are shaped like rats. The cars are constantly moving on the track, so you have to get on while it's moving. It's like a mini rollercoaster ride. The attendant didn't even look at us getting in or even checked out seatbelts. We aren't complaining about it; we survived and had a great time! Just something we observed :) PS - DO NOT get a taxi cab to take you here (or anywhere in Denmark). It is very expensive! Best way to get to and from Copenhagen city center and Bakken is by train, which is super convenient and budget friendly.

Oldest amusement park in the world! Crazy crazy rides that are almost primitive but they're awesome. Health and safety is left at the door here, it would be shut down in England but this meant that it just heightened your experience on the rides. Paid 289DKK each and had four tickets and this was for all the rides there. Never been anywhere so busy and despite its crowds and queues, never waited longer than 20mins for a ride. Testament to how to do Danish style Merlin Entertainment! Downside: its an open park so you have all sorts of people walking around here and it started to get weird by the late afternoon. Lots of adults drinking or drunk, odd balls roaming the park and a lot of smoking with groups of grown men going on kids rides. This all happening with families and young kids around. Just didn't feel right. Left before it ruined our day.
