We went with the family and the inlaws so we were 10 people. We made reservations for dinner around lunchtime and they looked more surprised than happy to accomodate our reservation. The waitress understood virtually no Swedish which is odd considering the similarities of the languages, I think it was more unwillingness than anything else. With that said, the service was good and we got what we ordered within reasonable time. We order five servings of the ad lib ribs after having crayfish for starters. The crayfish was good with fresh bread and was well prepared. The ribs where also good but the four sauces that was served with the ribs where nothing special. They tasted almost the same (bbq) it would have been so much better if they replaced one or two with something else entirely such as mayonaise or bearnaise. We will probably not be returning but I would still recomend it over the buffé places offers...
Read moreWe went to Røde Port during our summer party at Bakken, and it’s definitely one of the few places in the amusement park where you can actually sit down in a proper restaurant setting. It was quite cosy and served its purpose well as a place to take a break and have lunch together.
We chose the all-you-can-eat spareribs, and while the idea sounded good, the food itself was quite underwhelming. I personally didn’t enjoy the spareribs much. The fries on the side also tasted quite bland. Most of my colleagues seemed to enjoy the meal more than I did, but I only had a few bites before deciding I’d had enough.
The main reason we went here was convenience – it’s close to all the rides and gave us a chance to rest and eat before continuing our day at Bakken. It’s clear that the restaurant thrives on location and demand rather than food quality.

Restauranterne på Dyrehavsbakken ligger der for alle de glade mennesker, der fare rundt på bakken, det er med god grund at man kan komme afsted, med at tage omkring 200 pr. måltid de forskellige steder, da det handler om at få så mange igennem som muligt. jeg har snart været alle de forskellige buffeter og ad libitum middage igennem der serveres på de forskellige restauranter, men besøget på Røde port var lige lidt over det sædvanlige, her var en tjener som hedder Lukas og som sædvane bestiller vi noget ad libitum, i dette tilfælde var det stegt flæsk og American spareribs, jeg siger til Lukas at det skal være mega kæmpe portioner og under normale omstændigheder bliver dette totalt ignoreret, men vore gode tjener lytter og kommer med mega portioner og det endte da også med at ingen af os kunne spise op, af dem som fik ad libitum, eneste minus var at coleslaw var i ultra små portioner (æggebæger størrelse). Jeg vil sige at de kan sandelig tilberede et stykke flæsk og lave gode ribs og ikke mindst var coleslaw god og til priser 198 for flæsk og 158 for ribs så kan det jo næsten ikke være billigere, stor ros for det, Super bakke restaurant jeg kan kun anbefale denne restaurant når man er en tur på bakken, men tag jer i agt hvis i er så heldige at få Lukas som tjener han lytter til hvad der bliver sagt så pas på med at bestille for meget. Stor ros til Lukas for at høre hvad der blev bestilt og for hele servicen vi fik.
