Naturcenter Amager — Attraction in Tårnby Kommune

The nature Park is extensive and beautiful. The nature center had helpful maps of the area and much needed water. There is a restaurant/ cafe that is quaint and uses ceramic plates to cut down on waste. I'm giving a lower review because I had a negative experience at the restaurant. I did not realise there would be a place to buy food at the park so I brought my own, and when I came in to look for salt, I was strongly reprimanded by one of the staff. She told me that the cafe was only for paying customers. It was rude, hurtful, and surprising at a public park in a country that nurtures community.

Went to Naturcenter Amager for a walk. It is indeed a nice place, and it also has a great view to the nice designed flats nearby. As it were our first time here we didn’t know what to expect. There are many cozy places as well as wide open areas. Had our dog with us, and that wasn’t the best decision, as we of course cannot take the dog into areas with free walking sheep, horses and so.

The cafeteria is not child friendly. A woman that works there was upset because my son of 2 years was playing with the games that they sopouse have for kids. He was spreading thing but was not breaking or damaging anything really and we always clean afterwards. We leave near by and we actually were planning to celebrate a birthday there.
