When my fiancĂ©e told me we had reservations at the new place, I was excited and very much looking forward to it. The day arrived, we arrived at the venue, and my first impression was that they had turned the place into a cafeteriaâzero coziness, zero charm, with tables piled up to fit as many people as possible. It went from a charming/cozy restaurant to a cold, concrete-looking cafeteria.
Our reservations were for 11:00 AM. The kitchen was not ready or prepared. After overhearing that they did not have bacon, I quickly changed my mind from my original plan of ordering the brunch menu and decided instead on a Crispy Chicken burger from their "hele dagen" menu. When the owner/waiter came to take our order, he told us they didn't have sausages either, which already accounts for half of the options on their brunch menu. My fiancée and friend still decided to go with the brunch menu, with some alternatives. By this time, it was already 11:20. From ordering to actually receiving the food, an hour and twenty minutes went by. The waiter (owner) came a couple of times to reconfirm what we had ordered; despite writing it down, with an awkward smile, he blamed it on the system.
My fiancĂ©e and friend received their first plates of brunch before me, although my burger had been ready for about 10 minutes at that point. By the time he came to bring it to me, the burger had been sitting on the counter for over 15 minutes. I politely declined it and mentioned that the burger had been unattended for that long. He replied that it was then going to be his breakfast. He ordered a new burger, and the chef (owner) was visibly unhappyâI could sense his annoyance throughout the wait. When the new burger was ready, they brought it immediately. I must give credit where credit is dueâthe burger and fries were great.
Meanwhile, they forgot that my fiancée had ordered a fried egg. Despite not having bacon, they still charged us the same. He came twice to reconfirm our order, only for it to be forgotten again. The brunch did not include bread or butter.
After all this, and the long wait, the chef actually started helping serve the food. He came by to check how everything was, but before leaving, he said: "You know, we don't serve burgers on weekends." The waiter should have rejected the order, but nowhere on the menu does it say that they do not serve burgers during weekends at noon. When I explained that the menu does not specify this, he said that the waiter should have known, but since we ordered it, they fixed itâsmiling, perhaps seeking some sort of approval or positive feedback. I found this unnecessary, but by this point, I was so disappointed and upset that no comment would have been objective.
Finally, get a bellâit's not nice hearing service repeatedly and nobody picking up the plates. It causes unnecessary stress for the customers.

We had a reservation at 18.00 on the opening day we got there in time and after 30mins of waiting and being promised menus from two different people I got up and got ourselves a menu from the bar. At approx. 18.45 the owner/manager got our order but told us he needs to check if they have any of the vegan burgers because they had a problem previously with them. He went away for like 15mins and failed to find his way back to our table. Instead one of the waitresses came and asked if we ordered. When we told her we are waiting on some information about the vegan burger she told us it is not available today. Thatâs ok. I ordered the vegan pasta instead. She once again had the same reply âit is not available todayâ. So I asked if thereâs anything vegan that is available and she said unfortunately there is nothing vegan available that day. When I made the reservation 3 days before the opening day I made sure to write down all my allergies and that one person is vegan. And that it was a BIRTHDAY(!!!) dinner. The owner/manager had overall 4 days to contact me to let us know they cannot accommodate my food restrictions. Instead they let us wait over an hour for us to leave without having even a drink on our table! I confronted the manager/owner about these issues and even though he apologized he kept trying to find some excuses for the situation but failed to come up with anything that could not have been avoided by a simple phone call on the day or even an hour before our reservation. He completely ruined our celebration. We are terribly frustrated and annoyed with him and the situation and will never recommend the place to anybody. Jeg havde vÊret der over 3 uger forinden og prÞvesmagt min mad, som jeg Þnskede til fÞdselsdagen. Maden var ganske fin dengang. Tjenere/Ejeren, som tog imod bestillingen, forsikrede os om, at det ville blive lige sÄ godt noget mad vi ville fÄ til min fÞdselsdag. Han storroste sin restaurant. Jeg havde udsat mig en menu til 11 personer, som vi ogsÄ prÞvesmagte og reserverede sÄ bord ved ejeren.
Jeg kom to dage forinden forbi og snakkede med ham igen, og han bekrĂŠftede at der hele var klar.
Da vi ankom var bordet klar. Vi havde ikke travlt. Da ejeren kom ned, virkede han stresset. Der var to borde indenfor som var besat og lidt over halvdelen af bordene udenfor var fyldte. Han sagde de havde meget travlt og vi mÄtte vÊre toldmodige. Vi havde ikke travlt, sÄ det var fint med os. Men selskabet mÊrkede lidt en stresset stemning som smittede af pÄ os.
Da ejeren/tjeneren kom ned igen tog han imod vores bestilling. Det var en meget enkel bestilling, som dog blev lang for ham. Jeg spurgte om, hvilken vin som ville passe bedst til maden, og han forklarede at den franske var virkelig lÊkker dertil, hvilken jeg sÄ valgte, en lys fransk vin. Da han igen kom ned med vinen til bordet, skÊnkede han et lille smagsglas til mig, fÞdselaren. Jeg syntes ikke at vinen smagte fransk men meget dyb og spansk, hvilket jeg sÄ opdagede efter han havde skÊnket op til alle i selskabet, men glemte mig, som den sidste. Men ja, jeg fyldte sÄ bare selv op. Jeg spurgte ham, om det var vinen han havde anbefalet, da jeg kunne lÊse den var spansk, og han undskyldte sig med at der var meget travlt og han havde taget den forkerte vin pga. Der var travlt, men han ville rette prisen, da den var billigere og var mere en frikadelle vin ifh. Til den anden. Jamen tillykke tÊnkte jeg.
Efter noget tid kom maden. Mit kÞd var koldt, men smagte nu okay. Kartofler og sovs var fint. Dog var der alt for lidt kartofler, men vi blev fortalt, at hvis der manglede kartofler kunne vi bare sige til. Andre ved selskab havde ogsÄ koldt kÞd, mens andres kÞd var varmt. Men det hjalp med den varme varme sovs og kartofler, sÄ jeg ville ikke gÞre postyr over det. Da vi endelig fik fat i tjeneren og spurgte om flere kartofler, skulle vi lige regne med ventetid, da de jo havde travlt. Jeg tÊnkte, det er ikke kartofler/pommes frites som tager lang tid at lave. Men jeg var hÞflig og sagde det var fint. De kom efter 10-15 minutter og vi kunne spise vores kolde kÞd og kolde sovs osv til kartoflerne.
Inderst inde var jeg ikke tilfreds, men jeg gad ikke at vÊre irriteret pÄ min fÞdselsdag. Men da jeg kom op til kassen og skulle betale, var prisen pludselig en anden, end den vi havde aftalt. Den var lige ca 50% dyrere. Det gjorde jeg opmÊrksom pÄ, men argumentet var, at de to dage forinden havde lavet menukortet om og ogsÄ prisen. "Jeg mÄtte jo forstÄ at oksekÞdsprisen var steget". Men jeg gjorde opmÊrksom pÄ, at prisen var den samme pÄ hjemmesiden som jeg havde set pÄ og som jeg stod og kiggede pÄ nu. Det var sÄ en fejl mÄtte jeg forstÄ for deres internet ansvarlige. Jeg var mÄllÞs Jeg var meget overrasket over, at han kunne mene dette. Vi havde jo lige aftalt det for nogle uger siden og havde bekrÊftet det to dage forinden, da jeg var forbi. Jeg syntes det var sÄ pinligt, at invitere gÊster ud, og sÄ skulle argumentere om prisen med restauranten. Mit selskab sad og tÊnkte hvad der foregik. Jeg gik sÄ med til til sidst, at jeg fik 20 procent pÄ prisen. Jeg var ikke tilfreds, men fÞlte jeg var taget som gidsel foran mit selvskab.
Jeg vil sige, at ejeren ikke skulle have med betjening at gÞre. Det er lidt som hallÞj pÄ Badehotellet, nÄr han betjener, desvÊrre. Sjovt, men ogsa pinligt. Han skulle istedet lade betjeningen styres af den hyggelige og venlige tjener, som taler svensk pÄ restauranten. Han er virkelig hÞflig og imÞdekommende og...
