Loved this venue. We went with young children and loved every minute. We spent the entire day there.
This is a waterpark for locals and as such doesn't have the bells and whistles that you'd expect at a resort water park. However, the authentic DR water park was everything hoped it would be.
The entrance fee was very reasonable. The food was so well priced that I wish we didn't bother smuggling in our own food and drinks. *Security will check your bags on the way in. My lack of Espanol allowed us a much less stringent search than I expect the locals to receive.
There are lockers inside for you to secure your items and yellow rubber rings are available to hire for 100 pesos.
There is a section for small kids, and medium-sized kids and more sections for everyone else.
We spent around 6 hours here. It was a 10-minute stroll from our Airbnb in East Santo Domingo.
For a few hours of the day, there was a DJ at the top of the central slide, playing popular music. It helped with the party vibe and everyone was having fun. Not something I expected to see at a water park, and a core memory of Splash.
I 100% recommend this place to locals and...
Read moreIn the Caribbean Splash Water Park,we were thoroughly impressed by the diverse range of attractions it offers. The assortment of slides and pools provided an exhilarating experience for all members of our group, while the convenient dining facilities ensured our comfort throughout our visit. Situated at Av. España, Santo Domingo Este, the park's location was easily accessible, enhancing the overall convenience of our outing.
However, it is important to note that our experience also prompted us to consider aspects of water cleanliness and hygiene standards. While the management assures its commitment to maintaining these standards, recent observations have prompted us to suggest a further review and potential enhancement of these protocols to ensure an optimal experience for all...
Read moreWe got there at 12. It was about $9 for adults and $7-8 for our son. When we first got in only the main pool area was open with two slides. The wave pool was empty. The big slides were all closed. The kiddie area was open, but the slides weren’t wet enough to slide and my son kept getting stuck. About an hour after we were there, they started to open up the wide blue slide and one of the big slides. The umbrella looking statues started to squirt water too. My son was playing on the slides in the main pool, but they were huge and no one was monitoring who was coming down so kids were coming down together. My son had a great time until he came down and two bigger kids came down right after him and slammed into him. It was fun, but it’d be nice if things opened on time and people were actually watching the...
