Would I consider staying here again yes but it would not be my first choice.

The staff is very attentive, the design of the hotel is a bit outdated since it was the first in their series. I really appreciate it the airport shuttle service. They allowed us to have a late checkout. We had family visit us most nights to hang out in the lobby area they were always super friendly and welcoming. I am unsure if this is usually possible or if they just accommodate us because of what happened. It was a fairly nice place except for a minor inconvenience where my shoes were taken from my room and not found.

The spa here is just a hot tub, a cold dip, a steam room and a hot sauna. It's not a real Spa there are no services here.

The breakfast included was nice. Overall the stay in the hotel was safe. The area surrounding the hotel was safe, just keep your wits about your self.

It was just really disappointing to have something stolen and the hotel did nothing to kind of rectify the situation. It's really unfortunate because the reason we chose to stay at this hotel was to plan an event for later this year. But unfortunately the experience just did not match the expectation so we did not bother inquiring about it after this happened. Just to make it absolutely clear the staff was wonderful I really appreciated everyone we interacted with, it's just the fact that the hotel did not do anything to try and at least make up for it. If letting us do a late checkout for one room was their attempt to make up for it unfortunately that was not enough because the value of the shoes was more and I would have paid the value of a late checkout if that...

I have stayed in most of the major hotel group's in Guayaquil over the past 20 years. This hotel surpasses all I have stayed in. Big surprise! From the moment I arrived (at 1 am from a late flight), I was greeted by efficent and friendly porter and front desk. Most staff seem to understand English TG!! This level of service continued at breakfast, where there is a large buffet including the most wonderful Ceviche. Excellent coffee is topped up every few minutes. The omlett cook is a joy to watch in action....and she knows how to softly scramble eggs, a trait not often found. The fresh fruit mix includes dragon fruit and the fresh juices range from gooseberry thru blackberry. The coffee shop carries thru with fresh baked bread and pastries. Prices very fair for a classy mid town hotel. Tonight I plan to visit the Gourmet French Restaurant, also in-house. The pool is in a quite hide away sheltered spot. I have 5 more days, which I look forward to, and I will update at the end of my stay. So far, I have met guests from several European countries. One lovely aspect is that local business persons (men & women) appear to meet here, and the dress code within the hotel is business formal plus some. Lobby and public spaces are finished in classy marble and wood. The artwork throughout is also a classic mix. Living in Florida, I am used to meetings in large high quality establishments. This is up with the...

Adjusting for the fact that I was in Guayaquil, Ecuador this place is very nice and clean. Rooms were clean and service was excellent. Shower was hot and the room I stayed in had a rain fall shower head. Each room is given two free bottles of water and a couple of few sodas. When I asked for more water, it was given for free ( I avoided drinking from the tap - as I'm an American and didn't want to risk getting sick). Did I mention that the service was exceptional? Both concierge desk and front desk was very helpful and patient with me and they spoke enough English to get by ( which shouldn't be expected since we were in Ecuador)

The restaurant (the bar, which served the same food as the restaurant) offered very delicious foods that we're quite safe to eat (we had the sea bass and plantain and seafood porridge - both were excellent).

Also with each stay you get two free drink tickets - we got the hotel Oro Verde cocktails which were very tasty.

Also attached to the hotel is a gourmet deli with pretty good coffee, a wide selection of Ecuadorian deli goods, cakes and fresh pastries.

The hotel also offers complimentary airport pick-up and drop-off. For pickups just email the hotel with your flight info and they will be waiting for you with your name on a sign. For drop offs they have services every hour. This really is a great...
